  1. Re: The Good and Bad about Marvel and DC She was the best thing about that show, IMO.
  2. Re: Classic Super Hero Teams The entire opening adventure from the "Crazy Quilt" episode featuring Robin was a complete tribute to that TV series.
  3. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares A soft-drink must deal with prejudice while fighting crime in... "They Call Me MISTER Pibb!"
  4. Re: Master of Crime Not sure what's meant in regards to the "super computer" here, but that's just me. Just throwing this out there: The players could be offered a computer whose programmers claim will help them predict and foil crimes. Of course, the Master of Crime is behind it and he's using the players to eliminate both the competition and people whose services he no longer requires.
  5. Re: Tranquility Haven during WWII Hmm. I'm not really sure how many of the characters introduced in GAC are considered "official" now. The upcoming GAC would likely make things clearer, but that'll be a while. I don't have 6E, so I can't look up what it says about WW2 nor do I know if its significantly different from what's in 5E. GAC did have a character called Captain Future, who was a Time Cop from the future sent back to the war-era and who obsessed about inadvertently changing history. Seems ripe for a breakdown to me.
  6. Re: Champions Villains, Volume 3: Solo Villains Good news. In other news, a Google image search for "Champions Villains Volume Three Solo Villains" brings up Goradin's avatar.
  7. Re: NBC Revolution I could go for another episodic, basically optimistic sci-fi adventure show. One that also wasn't afraid to touch on current events on occasion.
  8. Re: Characters from DC's Earth 2 - mostly 5e Probably not just skills, but skill levels as well, since he's been in the World Army for several years and seems to have done several covert missions as The Atom.
  9. Re: Classic Super Hero Teams Which built a continuity of its very own. Excellent show, agreed.
  10. Re: New Kickstarter has an interesting take on a SuperVillains as PC RPG The way it's going now, I think it'll hit that goal.
  11. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares John Steinbeck looks at the down-and-outs after the decline of the mecha industry in..... Cannery Robotech
  12. Re: [New Product] Champions Complete I'd certainly support a Kickstarter to get one up and running in time for something like Free RPG Day.
  13. Re: World War Two Campaign In this vein, If you haven't already, take a look at Marvel's The Marvels Project mini of a few years back.
  14. Re: Classic Super Hero Teams You do recall correctly. Before that, they retconned it so Wing and Vigilante's other partner Stuff had been members. After that, in the Legacies mini of a few years back - which had a continuity so wacked out it was basically its own universe - TNT and Dan the Dyna-Mite were retconned in as members.
  15. Re: Master of Crime I don't know if he's in any of the updated materials, but there's no reason he can't be valid in your DC game.
  16. Re: Dirty Laundry That's a pretty good impression of Whedon-written Castle dialogue, actually.
  17. Re: Post apocalyptic HERO I love Adventure Time, and it *is* a post-apocalyptic setting after all. But, yeah, not for everyone.
  18. Re: Classic Super Hero Teams By competition, I mean other super-teams. Other companies had anthology titles featuring the overall faves from their characters, and there were occasional team-ups, but most attempts at a full team lasted one or two tries. MLJ published a bunch of superheros back in the day, so you're right that it would not be hard to assemble one if one wanted. A recent issue of Alter-Ego featured a mock MLJ team cover.
  19. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares The Lord of the Ring, indeed.
  20. Re: The Crimson Emperor -- Build Critique Wanted Brilliant. I'd love to see stats, and imagine he'd have quite the PRE attack.
  21. Re: Classic Super Hero Teams Depends on the era. For the '60s bunch, the original Comet and Black Hood were part of the team, and I think the Comet made it into the '80s version as well. But yeah, they weren't a team in the '40s. I've noted elsewhere I find it odd that the JSA had so little competition back in the day.
  22. Re: Post apocalyptic HERO It's one of those genres I don't think I could pull off as a GM - I'd probably turn a campaign into Adventure Time.
  23. Re: What Have You Watched Recently? Dark Knight Rises. Epic Awesome. Probably a little too long, and with a few noticeable editing gaffes. But still Epic Awesome.
  24. Re: New Kickstarter has an interesting take on a SuperVillains as PC RPG It's already funded; the question will be how much more it gets in the next few weeks. Godlike is awesome. I've not seen Grim War.
