I am looking to start plans for running an X-Com campaign with my friends. To that end, I am pouring over the X-Com UFOpaedia for notes I can use to port over the aliens and equipment from the game. Once done, I will make it available on my HEROphiles site for all to share. Anyone have any prior work they can offer up to assist?

Re: Black Hole power Simulating gravity in the Hero System is notoriously hard as gravity affects everything regardless of its mass, something that the Telekinesis power cannot simulate.

Re: Anyone running an online supers game? If you still want players, I'm willing to give it a shot. I'm generally available evenings after 7PM on Monday, Thursday and after 9PM on Wednesdays. I can't do Tuesday because of my live chat game called the Crucible, Wednesday I have exercise class from 7PM to appr 8:40, and Fridays I have a Skype session where I play with my old face to face crew from 6PM-Midnight. I can play Saturday and Sunday from 1PM - Midnight, but I may have family visits and I have to stop to eat dinner from 5:15 - 5:45. Email or IM me via Yahoo, if you want to talk more.

Re: Online RPG character generator from Champions online? It would be cool, if someone with the talents to do 3D graphics can make such a costume creator or made an open source and allowed the community to create parts.

Re: Legal Question: the "Pink Defense" You have a couple of problems. Even if you show up as pink, being pink is not proof of the act or conspiracy of the act, nor does it say when the person in question directed their thoughts and actions towards the corporation and the fact that the person is imposing the pink power on others could be grounds for a civil lawsuit at the very least.

Re: Military Spacecraft Designations The smaller sized craft would keep their current names. Fighters, bombers, gunships. The larger sized craft would be the real problem as we don't currently have an analogue for them. A carrier still seems like the most likely name for a vessel that carries smaller vessels though Traveller did provide us with another name: Tenders I'm just trying to imagine a nuclear powered Air Force controlled fighter tender in the USAF.

Re: Thoughts about Vibora bay I'm a bit torn by the announcement. I paid for the lifetime subscription and while I have no problem them selling stuff like premium costume parts to help fuel more stuff for the community as a whole, many people I know feel that there wasn't enough content. I admit I'm not the most religious of players, I hardly felt like my experience as I level up now has been particularly fulfilling. I hate to try to compare CO to WoW, but the journey as I leveled up my Mage to level 25 was much more of a challenge than my rise as a superhero to my current level 33. My journey to level 50 in CoX seemed more fulfilling than CO has been to date.

Re: Examples of Damage Negation I once proposed to someone doing a Fantasy Hero game that Damage Negation purchased in tiers could be used to simulate Dungeons & Dragons' +1 through +5 Magic Armor.

I thought there was a reference in a Hero System book for using Extra Time to simulate a cooldown period. Does anyone know where the references is or did I just imagine it?
