Well, I suppose such an epic battle deserves appropriate musical accompaniment:

I take the support for Biden as a sign that America is fine with the status quo of the 1% running everything and not giving a damn about the country or its people as a whole. People constantly complain about it, but when given a chance for significant change, they run like scared rabbits and prove once again how lacking we are compared to other First World democracies. Bernie is unlikely to run again and thus we'll have lost the most significant proponent for true change in this country for a long time. We deserve whatever happens at this point.

Sorry, but from my POV, NOTHING matters more than beating Trump. I am an unaffiliated moderate and whoever has the best chance to do that will get my vote. Right now, with Trump as President, the country is a giant dam about to burst. Can we please make sure the hole is plugged before anything? After that, everything else is icing on the cake. As I've said before, I don't think Bernie beats Trump.

Bernie Sanders IS reasonable and moderate. The fact that anyone here would consider him in any way radical is a substantial condemnation of how the Overton Window has been shifted way to far to the right. A moderate, centrist position on "the left" is considered radical, and on the right . . . well, we're at the place where concentration camps for brown people is at the "policy" level of acceptance.

I continue to find it irritating that people use the word "drone" to mean "quadrotor".

No one actually wants realistic damage results. Truly realistic damage wouldn't make dramatic sense. Phineas Gage took a six foot tamping rod through his brain and lived. More than one soldier has been shot through the heart and recovered fully. On the other hand, people have died from shock after getting hit with a bullet that didn't penetrate into their thoracic cavity, people die from simple slips and falls on a routine basis, and sometimes people die of an aneurysm with no warning at all. All the crazy medical stories you've ever heard are 100% realistic, because they're actually real, but players would feel cheated if they happened in their games.
