You'll be able to see from where you've placed the viewing point. But it's going to be as awkward as using VR and having the feed coming in from a camera placed a distance away from you.

Darkness defines an area impenetrable to a sense, but Claisentience isn't trying to look through that area. If you turn the "camera" back you'd see a blob of darkness.

Potentially you could have Darkness vs Clairsentience to prevent you using the power to place viewpoints, though this is probably only valid if the GM is running Clairsentience as an actual sense group (or part of Mental). Normally this is not the case. In all cases you could have a drain or suppression field to prevent you using the power.

And special effects are important. Clearly if you have a mystic Eye that flies around and telepathically relays what it sees to you, you're probably not going to be hampered by intervening smoke, but a psychic damper field is going to be an issue. And if your clairsentience is a camera drone relaying feed by wifi, Darkness to Radio would block it. The key point here is not what sense or senses the clairsentience itself uses, but what sense your character uses to gather the information. If your clairsentience is the ability to bend light so that you can see around corners... yeah, a smoke grenade is going to screw you up.

If your clairsentience relays to your iPad screen or a crystal ball, darkness to sight will affect it - you can't see the focus. If it relays to the HUD in your power suit helmet or your All Seeing Third Eye, you'll probably be fine.

I'd also point out that you can normally place a viewpoint regardless of walls and other sight blocking obstructions; most Darkness fields would count much the same as a wall for the senses they block.

Frankly I wouldn't shed a tear if they found something in the investigation that indites her or the Democratic party leadership as well. Investigate away.  Be thorough and let justice reign without partisanship bias  if justice is needed to be meted out.

There is a word for telling lies that you honestly believe.

    Mistake.

It's any reaction when presented with the truth besides 'I didn't know that. I am sorry.' that makes these people delusional jerks.

"Ok, so maybe that wasn't true... but the fact remains, it could have been true. It was plausible." BZZZZT! WRONG!

It's hands down my single greatest source of frustration with the state of modern media - social or otherwise:  By the time the retraction is printed (if it ever is) the damage is done.

Well for myself I think the biggest issue for CBS is they need to fire everyone associated with promoting the series due to stupidity and outright lying.

Even the thickest dunderhead can easily see STD (I still get a chuckle out of that title blunder) is not even close occurring in the prime timeline between ENT and TOS.  Even if it was presented with fingerprints it would completely fail as a direct inline show.  This is not a question of movie/TV production methods/technology.  It is a question of story/plot/script/design and everything else in a Trek show.

    Is CBS has said

"We are making a Star Trek series that will take place 10 years before the Original Series.  But due to both technical issue and our vision for the show, it will not be actually in the Prime Timeline itself. Instead it will be heavily influenced and inspired by the Prime Timeline while being a unique and standalone universe."

    Instead they said:
"STD is in the Prime Timeline and set 10 years before the Original Series" even when it is obviously not.

Which immediately translates to: "No, you are wrong it is Prime Timeline and you are all idiots.  It. IS. THE. SAME! old Trek, F-bomb you all".

A Civic is a good car that is really good at fulfilling its role as cheaper transportation currently MSRP new at $18k.  But if they called me and promised me a new luxury sedan for only and then rolled out a Civic, I'd be pissed.  Not because a Civic is a bad vehicle, but because a Civic is not a luxury sedan as promised.

STD might be good or even great SciFi.  But it is not Prime Timeline Star Trek, which is what they keep claiming.

And I do not believe it is doing that well because if it was they would not be hiding the stats, they would be shouting them from the rooftops.

After the last weeks episode the local morning radio show (a CBS owned station) spent allot of time talking up STD.  But the primary "cool think" that they centered on was the F-Bomb.  Really?!  Out of the entire show all the had was "Trek now cusses".

They still have time to save it, but it would require them to come clean and stop the institutional dishonesty.
So I expect it will die on the vine....

Just how many times can a person take a different position in a single paragraph?   President Trump speaking about NAFTA yesterday has to be a record of some sort.  I feel bad for the negotiators.

Also - Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau saying afterwards that sometimes the decisions this administration and president make are 'surprising' is probably the biggest understatement in the name of diplomacy I've ever heard.

    You would be right.

And Darkseid invaded Earth at the conclusion of the Justice League Unlimited animated series in 2006. For that matter, the first Justice League animated series concluded in 2004 with an invasion by the Thanagarians. And started in 2002 with an invasion by White Martians (their version of them, anyway). While the original Chitauri invaded in the Ultimates comic series in 2002. Over at DC, Brainiac took over Warworld and used it to attack Earth in the Panic in the Sky storyline in Superman's comics from the early 1990s. Then we have the alliance of DC alien races which invaded Earth during the Invasion! crossover mini-series of 1988-89. And back to Marvel for the invasion by the Dire Wraiths in the Rom Spaceknight series (with Avengers/X-Men crossovers) in the early 1980s...

The Gifted is a well-made show, I'll give it that. But I'm so tired of the villains being our own government. It seems that's the only thing Marvel can come up with these days. At least on Attilan, the conflict is Shakespearean in nature, and not stuck in a 1960s/1970s mindset.

Really impressed to see Sister Rosetta Tharpe on there.  Hopefully just the inclusion triggers a wave of 'who?' and google searchs for her music because she's incredible.

Just listen to that guitar (and solo at 1:30) and realize that this was a hit for her back in the 40s (though that recording looks like it was probably in the 60s in the last decade of her life).
