  1. I’m ready and waiting, do we just say the place or do we need to do some writing about it? I’m set either way.
  2. If you’re there and she can’t tell...you may have other problems. SHE: “Are you in?” HE: “In hell, I’m done!” Redd Foxx
  3. GRANDADDY!!!!! (Look at my pic.) Was it an all boys school?
  4. Nope, her bare toned midriff and thigh high boots had a BIG and lasting effect on me as a young lad. Thank you Nichelle Nichols, where ever you are.
  5. Nooooooo, silly rabbit. Princess Uhura. Picture her in that outfit from Mirror Mirror. Wow.
  6. That actually sounds like a pretty cool crossover campaign. Jim Kirk as a cocky smuggler, Spock as a Zen-like Jedi Master of the Force, Sulu as Commander of Rogue Squadron and of course.....Emperor Kahn!
  7. Just to keep the train of thought going....Relative size has little to do with dominance or responsibility. Aren’t humans held responsible for our treatment of elephants? Therefore, our Feline owners should be held responsible for their treatment of us. P.S. I know, I know, yet another guy saying “Size doesn’t matter.”
  8. Aren’t they the flowers that shot out those spores that made Spock all happy and climbing trees and stuff?
  9. 🎵One of these things is not like the others. One of these things only kind of belongs.🎶
  10. They do it to us and it’s soooooooo cute. We do it to them and and you get arrested for animal cruelty! Does this seem fair to you!?! FIGHT AGAINST THE EVIL OF OUR FELINE OVERLORDS!!!!!
  11. Harbor. Look where I’m from, what else would I think?
  12. I have three Funkos, all were gifts. Superman, Captain America, and the Green Hornet & Kato premium double box. One Hour Later: P.S. Upon reflection, the part about gifts, made that sound like “I would never buy those”. I meant that they were treasured because of that.
  13. If you’re not a fan of comics I don’t think you’re going to enjoy running a Superhero campaign. The same way someone who doesn’t like Fantasy wouldn’t be a good D&D DM. Is this something that your players have asked for? The Hero system is extremely versatile and can support anything from D&D style fantasy to Mission: Impossible type spy stories to Weird West and epic Science Fiction. On this site in the downloads section are manuals for Hero Games Star Trek, both Original Series and Next Generation. I’m not trying to scare you away, and I don’t make a dime off of anything you may buy or use. I’m just someone who finds these rules useful and I like the people here. There are a lot of sites that show off their builds for different characters from both Marvel & DC, and when setting up first time players I always suggest they play a version of their favorite character. That way they have an automatic understanding of how the powers are supposed to work and what that type of Hero behaves like. Batman and Captain America may have similar write-ups but act very differently. Unfortunately Hero doesn’t have a pre gen adventure like you’re looking for, but I think this group can help you find everything you might need for a good game.
  14. Hey, new kid! Your request is a little broad for me to get a handle on. Do your players already have characters written up and have decided whether you’re a team already or just a group of heroes doing a team-up and you just need an episode to run for them or are you looking for a test game with pre-made Player Characters, so you folks can decide if you like the system? We as a group can help either way, it’s just easier if we know what you need.
  15. That place is in New Orleans. You need that second to last one for during Mardi Gras. “Wadda ‘ya mean, body paint doesn’t count?” “BLUGAHHHH!!”
  16. Now I have a real question. I’ve got a few storylines I could do but they all sound like bad crossover fiction. How do I keep that from happening?
  17. I have a question, does the protagonist have to be a published character or can it be an original PC in an established universe, love interest, etc.? CANCEL: I answered my own stupid question.
  18. I think I’d like to give this one a try. I’ve never done one of these before, so I hope you’ll all be patient if/when I screw up.
  19. I just had a delicious dinner of Pot Roast w/ vegetables & gravy and hot biscuits. My sister-in law is a wonderful cook. It was prepared in a crock pot. What exactly is the difference in mechanics between a crock pot or slow cooker and an instant pot?
  20. “What is it?” “Evil, pure and simple, from the eighth dimension!” “Grab ‘em!” The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai: Across the Eighth Dimention. God, I needed this today. I’ve been up all night, watching the news. Watching Good triumph over Evil is soothing my troubled soul. And I still say that Rawhide coming back to life at the end of the movie means he’s a Highlander....probably a descendant of the Kurgan. I still hope to be a Blue Blaze Irregular when I grow up.
  21. There is also the evil GM reason for hidden die rolls. If your players start getting a little too complacent about things like sneaking into a villain base for example, nothing amps up a players real world paranoia like seeing their GM rolling dice and writing down numbers... A little adrenaline does wonders for keeping things moving and people focused. Asking players to roll dice without telling them why does the job even better. But keep these tactics on reserve for when it’s really needed for optimum effect. And yes I am a mean son of a mother.
  22. Psych Lim : Obnoxious 18- Major Effect Example: see Guy Gardner
  23. And he tied a yellow ribbon ‘round the old oak tree.....if you know what I mean. “Hoot man, I don’t know where ‘ye been, but ‘ye won first prize!”
  24. Only if OTHER people think you’re funny. Otherwise you’re just annoying. Take it from a fellow pun addict. “Hi, my name is Tjack and I tell puns.” “Hi, Tjack”
