  1. Following one of the selections that has been made I intend rigging my voting should a particular circumstance be fulfilled.
  2. Well stuntmen have to sub for actors if the scene is too dangerous so Unknown Stuntman Harry Kane is the Unknown Stuntman. He is an inveterate risk taker and gets a real adrenaline rush from taking risks or replacing any of the others in a high risk environment. He may take injuries but he can always recover from them. He is combat skilled but it is his ability to take a hit or roll ith it that makes him a valuable asset to the team. Albeit an expendable one.
  3. Seasick Steve - Sonic Soul Surfer. I like his stuff but this won't sway those on the fence.
  4. Fury. Shia Labeouf in decent acting role shock. I enjoyed the film. It had the only working Tiger tank and late model Shermans which was nice. Watched Kelly's Heroes again last night for a change of pace.
  5. Everyone has to smile, making the Joker one of the most liked character ever. Or else.....
  6. This was copied so much by children at the time that it was banned as it ruptured people's eardrums. It was changed to something else by the marketing people in response to this.
  7. For some years Gillian Anderson had said that she wanted to go on Top Gear. Well I found out recently that she had been on as she had said that Jeremy Clarkson had been nice to her when she was on the programme. You might find it on Youtube as Season 22 episode 6. It is pretty good. And it made me happy.
  8. Skin Game by Jim Butcher. Several surprises in this, but Mab playing Nicodemus was not what I saw coming. A good read and I like forward to the next. But am I right in thinking that two of the Denarians are now permanently gone.
  9. Log, or whatever he is calling himself today, has changed his avatar again. I am going to bury my head in the sand until it is safe to come out again.
  10. One idea I had was a superheroine who conditioned herself that rape was something that could potentially happen to her as she was an attractive woman. What broke her was being captured and imprisoned in half a plinth and then seeing her comrades (who were in a similar predicament) being injected and turned to stone/marble in front of her before the same was done to her.
  11. Terence and Philip's song about a family member. That is pure evil genius. So catchy and you left the cinema anting to sing it. But couldn't for obvious reasons.
  12. The South Park movie. It is still so funny even after a decade and a half. And that song. Evil genius.
  13. How many members ? The IRA team was for me too close to the bone. Twice I was in the vicinity of where they planted bombs that killed people.
  14. Tiger Feet - Mud. Les Gray (58) heart attack Wig Wam Bam - Sweet. Brian Connolly (51) liver failure and Mick Tucker (54) leukaemia Smoke on the Water - Deep Purple. Jon Lord (71) pulmonary embolism https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mCK05dgwgU
  15. Season 16 of Dr Who. That means the Ribos Operation, The Pirate Planet, The Stones of Blood, The Androids of Tara, The Power of Kroll and the Armageddon Factor. The whole search for The Key to Time. I had forgotten just how attractive Mary Tamm was in this. The Pirate Planet is the best of them as there is a lot of comedy but also a very serious point about what the plan behind the facade was doing. What is best about all the shows is the playing. Tom Baker is just marvellous and is served by some very good guest stars like Ian Cuthbertson in The Ribos Operation, Bruce Purchase in Pirate Planet, Peter Jeffrey in The Androids of Tara, Neil McCarthy and Philip Madoc in The Power of Kroll, and John Woodvine in the Armageddon Factor.
  16. The Devil in I - Slipknot. It really is very good.
  17. Yeah that one. The woman defence lawyer is such a rotten person. And typically the French are bedhopping. But I like the two cop subordinates Gilou and Tintin. Am now watching The Island at the Top of The World which I fondly remember.
  18. Spiral season 1. This is a French policier. It shows how the judiciary works in France which is radically different to what we have in Britain or what is shown of America. A woman has been found in a skip and her body is disfigured. The police investigation slowly turns up something nasty. Each episode also has a seperate crime that is looked at either by the police or the judicary. Entertaining.
  19. I now have my 75th commissioned piece of work from Deviantart arists.
  20. And now two more commissions. http://www.deviantart.com/art/Angelika-519198700 This next one is the 75th one commissioned and delivered from a Deviantart artist http://www.deviantart.com/art/Blue-Phantom-commission-519311220
  21. Steel Wolf and Soviet Superwoman are both Original Characters on Deviantart and you will find a lot about both on that site. And 5th one down in the last set is Thunderbird. And thanks to Basic204 for the quick edit. One of the images had to be removed as it contravened board policy and would have got him in trouble with admins.
  22. Night and Fog by Alan Renais. 10 years after the war this documentary about the Holocaust comes out with a visit to the deserted Auschwitz. Some of the black and white images I had not seen before and are really disturbing. Along with Shoah I would say essential viewing as a primer on what was done in the death camps.
  23. Chasing Yesterday by Noel Gallagherf's High Flying Birds
  24. They might have a weakness to cold iron or certain herbs. There is also the possibility that they are prone to malice or mischief. Then there could be the possibility of flight.
