  2. Re: (6e) Classified: Characters Wanted! The bartender asks, "What is this, some kind of joke?"
  3. Re: (6e) Fantasy Pregen Characters Wanted What do you consider the core types to be? I presume that you'll want a cleric/priest, fighter, thief/rogue, and a mage. What do you want for the other two? Do you mean mechanically interesting or with an interesting background? Or simply a character that would be difficult or impossible to build in D&D?

  6. Re: Urban Champion: Unnamed as yet *imagines how Teaser Darts would work* *thock* "Hey, big boy. Like what you see? Wanna see some more?"
  7. Re: WOW! Stun drain in 6e END is considered a Defensive Power (6E1 141).
  8. Re: Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Übersoldat
  9. Re: Real Locations that should be fantasy Very pretty. It reminds me of Azshara in WoW.
  10. Re: Surely You're Joking, Mr Long. Barrier: For 3 points you get a barrier that has no defenses and no BODY. Maybe you could use it as a shoebox or something.
  11. Re: Cost of Levels CE can negatively affect Skill or Characteristic rolls, but generally not Attack Rolls (except Range Modifiers). However, CV can (in 6e) be targeted directly with Adjustment Powers.
  12. Re: It's the Little Things.... The gliding character has traded his forward motion (kinetic energy) for altitude (potential energy). To resume forward motion, he either needs to expend energy (switch from Gliding to Flight), or descend. I agree that the default 2:1 glide ratio is abysmal. (The Shuttle, which has been described as a, "flying brick," has a 4:1 ratio.) I'd allow a doubling of that ratio as a 5-point adder.
  13. Re: Public Domain Super Heroes Tupperware.
  14. Re: 250 point Dark Champions Green Hornet type advice? The, "Grapple Gun" looks nifty but I'm not sure it will be used enough to justify spending almost 10% of your points on it. I'd spend the points elsewhere and use the Gadget Pool if I wanted climbing equipment. I remember that the Green Hornet's Secret ID had a certain amount of fame (owned a major newspaper) which could count as a Complication.
  15. Re: Magical Engineer Commandos Many of my characters have Breakfall, especially in games with Knockdown or Knockback.
