Cancer
Another piece of inane Seahawks trivia: This was the first game in franchise history where the Hawks did not punt at all.
Pariah
Not even in Super Bowl XLVIII? Because I could have sworn that the Denver Broncos never stopped them that night.
Old Man
Extra thanks to the Broncos for allowing the Raiders to win: the Raiders' next game is against the Chiefs. We will be 1-4 going into the early bye.
death tribble
Oh boy did the Bucs get thumped. And condolences to Pariah for the Broncos loss. Not because it was to the Raiders. Just because it was a loss. And the same to Logan for the Jags loss. I will gloat over Green Bay defeating New England. Not because I have friends in Milwaukee who support the Packers. No, because Belichick has it coming.

unclevlad
And Baker Mayfield isn't doing a whole lot better. The Athletic's morning report pointed out that under Matt Rhule, when giving up 17+ points, the Panthers have lost 24 in a row, and are 1-26 overall. Translation: no offense. Back to back 5 win seasons, and #31 in this morning's Sporting News power rankings, says the rope he's hanging onto is fraying.
Cancer
Cherry-picking small-number stats I like the suggested concept of trading Smith to the Panthers while his value is high ((?????)) for their top two picks, though.
Pariah
Talk about adding injury to insult. Broncos' Javonte Williams out for the season after suffering torn ACL in Week 4 loss to Raiders Because the Broncos' offense doesn't have problems enough already. At this rate, the season MVP for the team is going to be Corliss Waitman. Oh, and look, this week is the Broncos' turn for a Thursday night game. Cancer
Quote They are 1-3 with their lone win coming by a single point way back in Week 1. They’ve scored an average of 19 points per game over the first month of the season. Their minus-7 turnover differential is the worst in the league. They have scored a total of 17 first half points. Their starting quarterback is day-to-day with a transverse fracture in his back. Their starting running back has a rib injury and has only played in 2 of their 4 games this year, totaling 24 carries for 100 yards plus 5 receptions (on 11 targets) for 19 yards. Their star wideout has a toe injury that prevented him from playing in their Week 4 loss and could keep him on the sidelines again in Week 5. Who's that? That's the team favored by 5 points over Seattle next weekend. Admittedly, they are at home. unclevlad
So what's been more destroyed...the Broncos, or the Rams tonight? How did the Niners lose last week? I bet they're asking the same thing.... Hey, ya gotta admit, Broncos-Colts is an entirely fitting game for TNF. The Game No One Wants to See, a TNF specialty. He won *big time*, all things considered. Looks like he's had time to come to terms with his career basically being over. Granted, that would be a nasty gut punch, but hey, if he had an ounce of sense, he should be...rather well off. That tends to ease a good deal of pain. Pariah
Isn't Blake Bortles the guy Collins Kaepernick lost his starting job to? Or am I misremembering?

Bortles was Jacksonville. Kap was the Niners. But that's OK, cuz Kap's replacement was the equally forgettable Blaine Gabbert. Bortles did actually replace Gabbert in Jax. Gabbert's had a nice time riding the bench ever since, save for taking over for Kap for a bit, or starting a few games when the #1's been injured.
