In the last couple weeks Ive picked up a couple of Mastodon records (Leviathan and Remission), and Clutch's two new ones; Robot Hive / Exodus which is a true new release, and Pitchforks & Losts Needles, which is a collection of B sides, EP's tracks, and other rarities. Ive been flipping between them. The Mastodon is listenable, but aside from a few top cuts they'll likely fade from my usual rotation soon. Clutch on the other hand continues to be uniquely awesome. They get better with every album. Highly recommended. Slightly before that my brother in law sent me a bunch of Rammstein stuff thats hard to find in the states, and I had a lot of fun absorbing it all. I love the single Bad Day, but the rest isn't much working for me. And thus I am reminded why my policy is to not buy CD's unless I know at least three songs... Megaherz is definitely worth adding... check out Laibach if you haven't already as well. Haven't heard Beseech .. on the list it goes!
