BobGreenwade
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Episode II: Send in the Attack of the Clones ("Send in the Clowns" is an important song in Sondheim's A Little Night Music).I thought about "Send In the Clones," but it doesn't quite seem to fit, being a song title rather than the title of the musical itself. Episode III: Revenge of the Sith Pacific. Perfect! I can just see Aniken singing "There Ain't Nothing Like a Droid"....
shadowcat1313
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Is that the story of the Clintons? Any suggestions?[/quote'] The Empire Strikes Back to the Future "Sith Side Story" The Great Luke Ski did an album of Star Wars inspired insanity with a medley called "Grease Wars" among other things in ths song, cuts from Jedl Knights Obiwan is the only one that I want Jedi School Dropout and of course Greased Falcon what actually turned Anakin to the dark side was simply this the worst case of heroine addiction the universe has ever seen

BobGreenwade
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares The Empire Strikes Back to the FutureMy recollection is that Back to the Future was not a musical. Following a friend's suggestion, I'm going to give up on melding the title of Chapter IV (A New Hope), and do something totally wild.... so thus far I have: Chapter I: Phantom Menace of the Opera Chapter II: Send In the Clones Chapter III: Sith Pacific Chapter IV: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Alderaan ...leaving two more. I actually was starting to think in that direction.

Narratio
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Clint Eastwood and the Smurfs collaborate on Paint my Smurf. A richly lit film filled with the wonderful music and great tunes. Papa Smurf singing "Wandering Star" deserved it's 'Gold' disc. Indeed it led directly to the papa Smurf vehicle "The Man with the Golden Smurf". A much under rated movie.
Matt Frisbee
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares How bad can it get? Try these: Tickle me St. Elmo's Fire (you'll get a charge out of it) Crockadile Dundee Down Under The Rainbow (talk about stooping for a paycheck!) Cheaper by the Dirty Dozen (suicide missions galore!) The Groundhog Day After (imagine living WWIII over and over again...) Hawaii Five-Oh God! (Book him, Dano -- and say your prayers...) Point Breaker, Breaker! (Trucking has never been this extreme!) Great Beyond
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Would I be a bad person for suggesting Fist of the Northstarblazers? You get hit by the Wave Motion Gun, your head swells up and explodes half an hour later. Or Speed 2 Racer - where the Mach 5 cant go under 50 miles an hour or Spridle and Chim-Chim get into the trunk

Michael Hopcroft
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Gomer Pyle UNSC. Just how on-target that is is extremnely distrubing. "Suprise! Surprise! surprise! Looks like hexbollah AIN't behavin' after all!" Although Gomer didn't like to piss people off -- it just happened naturally and usually without him even realizing it. Many diplomats today piss off people they don't need to for the sheer fun of doing it.
