Re: What would be your take on She-Grond?

another theory:

she is only half-grondish. there are unstable women who seek to wed prisoners and such, so in a supers world there could have been a woman; far out on the fringe who seduced Grond somehow, and bore him a girl child.

Plot seed: Grond-ette's genetics are unstable (not surprising given her father's unusual origins and her hybrid nature). The problem is getting worse and the young meta human likely won't survive much longer. Her mother has managed to peacefully contact the green behemoth since she thinks he does have a right to know about his child. And the news awakened surprisingly paternal instincts in Grond who has become kidnapped various scientists to with make his daughter well or he makes them chunky salsa. Unfortunately Grond's knowledge of science is limited to "Smart people know how fix things" so his targets are practically random, mostly limited to researchers and scientists he's encountered in the past, not the medical and metahuman specialists that might be able to help. The PCs must find where he's stashing his targets, defeat or calm the worried father down and hopefully save Grond-ette, who has the potential to be as powerful as her father and much more rational so potentially a powerful force for good.

No' date=' that's She-DRAGON!

210px-Sshe-dragon51.jpg

Clothing seems to be optional for her: panties or tattered rags.;)

Here's another statue of her: CSMS1007-4T.jpg

The hair might be different, but Amy seems to only have one set of panties.

I knew it was She-Dragon, I also thought it made a good She-Grond.

I also hear the mohawk came later, in order to give her Dragon's crest.

Yeah, except She-Dragon hain't got four arms, but that mohawk loks cool. I have a thing for women with wholly or partially shaved heads. (Why else do you think I saw Alien3?)

I think I like the Log-Man's take the best.

What's the badge She-Dragon's wearing in the cartoon? Is that a police badge? :nonp:

I get the same' date=' but I told mine to save it as shegrond.jpg which turned out fine. Since you have it saved, rename to shegrond.jpg (or anything .jpg)[/quote']

Erm people think there are penis bones on humans?

Oddly enough, only on Bushmen.

I understand that humans are very unusual among mammals in that regard - every other male mammal does have such a bone. Or so I'm told. I don't go around examining penises of other species.

edit: For that matter, I may have been misinformed about the Bushmen.

Um, why are we talking about this again?

Most, but not every male mammal has a baculum.

We're the only primates that don't have them, but rabbits, whales and horses are also missing it. Several others too, but those are the ones I can recall off the top of my head...

More info here of course:

I'm reasonably certain you are, but if you've got a cite...?

Um, why are we talking about this again?

...that's a damn fine question actually... o.O

Re: What would be your take on She-Grond?

When I originally saw this thread my first reaction was quite visceral:

NO! ABSOLUTELY NOT!

NO! I SAID NO!

SOMEBODY GET MY SHOTGUN!

However, After I went through the thread, I kind of softened up to the idea.

So here goes:

I think that a "Grondess" character may have nothing to do with Grond at all. That perhaps she was born a sickly scrawny girl and when she hit puberty (IE her first cycle) She hit a serious growth and mutation spurt. (I'm thinking Mutant Here)

Once her cycle was done she reverted to normal. So I am thinking that once a month she becomes the "Grondess" character or during times of extreme emotional distress. While not very useful for a PC, she would make a great dependent NPC or Follower. In short, that would cover the Multiform, along with enough disads to pay for it.

Looking around, I find plenty of references to the supposedly unique physical structure of their women, and several references to the men being permanently quasitumescent but no direct reference to an extra bone being responsible for the latter condition.

The palindromedary asks how did we get on this topic?
