concord
Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine Peaceniks First Appearance: 6/10/1964 Location: Berkeley, California Last Appearance: 12/1/1975 Location: San Francisco, California Reason: To protect the people. Members: Flower, Moonbeam, Starflash, Sunshine Area of Operations: San Francisco Bay Area, occasionally other parts of the United States Status: Disbanded History The Peaceniks were are group of paranormal hippies. Part of their time was spent protesting the war in Vietnam and making sure "Big Brother" did not infringe upon the rights of people to freely assemble and express themselves. The rest of their time was spent helping others and sometimes fighting paranormal criminals. The Peaceniks most famous paranormal encounter was when they stopped one of Black Sheba's rampages through the marina district of San Francisco. The Peaceniks later drew a lot of bad press when they refused to assist Team: Able in capturing Black Sheba. The group disbanded in 1975 when US troops were withdrawn from Vietnam.
