Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

Okay, playing (somewhat) fair to the thread, I give you Lu Deng.

Rep to the first person who figure's out how this character started...

The hint is in the name

as a NINJA HERO? he seems a little like GREEN LANERN AND IRON FIST with a touch of thelegend of the dragons GOLDEN DRAGON to me

I think there is definatley a Martial Artist Green Lantern hook here. Isn't there a solar powered light (lantern?) that is called a Jin Lu Deng? Also, I think Deng may be a surname that means green.

(Lu Deng=Green Lantern in Mandarin).

I hit Bubba with the Rep stick for you.

I tried to hit you as well, but apparently I've done that too recently. I'm going to have to owe you. Lu Deng looks great, in both incarnations (FH and CoH).

Re: A DC Animated-style HeroMachine

I happened to find this thread while doing some random searching, and I have tried out the character creator mentioned. Very useful for those of us that cannot draw.

However, I do have a question. How do you save the images? There does not seem to be a control that allows you to do so.

Press the "print screen" button on your keyboard. This will copy exactly what is on your screen at that time to the clipboard. Then, open up ms paint (or another image editor you happen to have) and paste it there. Then, cut/crop/paste as needed.

OK. The only problem that I see with this is the lack of a "print screen" button on my keyboard. The rest of the suggestion rather depends on there being one.

Are you using a Mac or a PC? If you're using a PC, the Print Screen (or maybe PrtScr) key is most likely located at the top right of your keyboard, above the arrow keys. On a laptop, you may have to use a function key of some kind to achieve the same thing.

On a Mac, I have no idea.

Alternately, there are free screen capture utilities you can download and use. A search engine will help you in this regard.

Hope that helps.
