Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Michihiro Nakamura was an expert in robotics and engineering. He built a large "samurai mecha" to join the group. (he wanted to join due to his feelings for his great-grandpa a military man, who died on Okinawa during the 1945 battle fighting the Americans. And felt his grandpa and father spit on his memory "serving" the Westerners). He pilots the mecha himself which has become known as The Great Metal Warrior (or Japanese equivalent which I have no idea)

Is it 8?

It shure is. Othoe I noticed nobody did Tetsushogun himself.

Anyways, on to the twin team.

Twist and his twin brother, Shout, are mutant mercnary supervillians. Twist can enlong his body, while Shout's vocal cords can generate sounds in the sonic range. Thay started working sepertly till thay uncovered each other's idenity and decided thay can earn more as a team than as an individual.

Mind & Body

Their mother was a witch. And due to some twist of fate, when she used her magic while they were in the womb. They somehow "traded". Body, has the mind of a toddler, but his body is at its peak. He is essentially a brick w/speed (a very dim-witted one). Mind, is a frail body who rides in a hoverchair. But, is a premier mentalist. Body though a little slow-witted is extremely protective of his brother. Mind suspects their life forces are linked due to their transformation.

Mind isnt above mind-controlling a few people to help them (and keep he and his brother protected)

Sugar & Spice

Sugar has mutant pheromone powers that temporarily enthrall most people into obeying her "suggestions" (men and woman alike, though it's more of an effort to affect those who don't prefer women/are asexual). Spice is a pyrokinetic -- and is more than a little overprotective of her twin sister. Whether that's due to Sugar's powers or not, the rest of the team really doesn't want to find out.

Winchester and Colchester Sandive, Split and Merge used their powers for insider trading and other white-collar crimes until their mutant status was exposed and people finally connected the dots. Now they've turned to supervillainy. Split has the ability to create duplicates of himself , up to ten at a time, though the more he creates, the shorter the time they can last. Merge is able to take Split's duplicates into his own body, making him stronger, faster and more durable, as well as being able to share the duplicate's memories.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Hmm, you're aware that a brother and sister pair are automatically fraternal twins, not identical twins, right?

Terra Incognita has the mystic ability to banish people and things to other dimensions temporarily; usually an hour though if she pushes it she can force them away for up to twenty-four Earth hours. The dimensions accessed are random so far as she knows, but are always one the victim has never been to before. Terra also has a small variety of non-combat travel-related spell. Her past is a bit of a mystery even to her--she may originally come from the Undiscovered Country from whose bourn no traveler returns....

Legend has the ability to open teleportation and extra-dimensional gates. His favorite tactic is to use an x-dim gate to pull a legendary creature or individual from another dimension (a Summon, though he has little control over whatever or whomever he summons unless he can talk them into helping him). If there is a large body of water nearby, he also has a tendency to bring in a sea monster, not necessarily because it might help in whatever plot the Navigators are undertaking, but because "it looks cool."

Cardnal Point might be a bit crazy. This man dresses up as a cathlic cardnal and points to people, saying that god told him to shair his powers with others. (In reality, he is crazy as a fox...) His powers are the following: ability to know where the north and south poles are at all times, magnetic flight, the ability to cause vertigo in anyone he points to.

(In case you do not know, a cardnal point is the northen point and southern point on any map...the point on the map clostest to the poles than any other)

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Scale

His power is to be able to shrink or enlarge people or things. This power makes him a menace as he can cause walls to collapse by shrinking them which is very useful in a back robbery. Also when used against people very annoying. He can shrink his colleagues so that they can sneak away or so that he can carry them into a location almost unnoticed. He does not use the power on himself nor does it aoppear to work on him.

He seems insane as the gleam in his eye and the odd laugh he makes would seem to indicate.

New Team: This time we are off to the slopes and I want between 5 and 9 people who are engaged in crime in Winter Sports. Cold Comfort is their name. So skiing is in but the biathlon would be a seperate person, speed skating but not figure skating or ice dancing, snow mobiles are in but not curling and the ability to create cold or snow is also in if you cannot be a competitor at Winter sports. Ice Hockey is also an option.

Klaus Rinn had worked most of his life to get to the Olympics, so when he was disqualified for using performance-enhancing drugs, he was livid. (This completely disregards the fact that the drugs had a much higher effect on Klaus than normal) He'd show them! Now, as the speedster of Cold Comfort, Luge zips around at high speed, specializing in move-by grabs to steal objects or disarm opponents.

Robert Dougless McKensly was an avaid hockie fan. So, after embeseling lots of funds from his father's beer factory, he went to AGENT to buy some hi-tech (and illegal) hocky equipment. When eveybody found out, and he coulden't embezel anymore to pay for the equipment, he turned to crim and Cold Confort as Stick.

I'm saying no figure skating or ice dancing for the group. It would be a trifle silly.

Well, there can be silly without that!

Snowdragon

Sometimes your team is a perfect match. Sometimes you might be better of search for a different one. Sometime it will never work. And realy rarely people are just so stubborn, that they join anyway. A cold-bloded Lizardman in wintersports themed team is certainly the later chase.

He comes from an alternate dimension, with big jungles. His people are a proud hunter-culture and also gifted with a really short connection to their gods. A oracle had a vision containing him, how he fells a Yeti so they send him on his way to champions earth so he could hunt one. Thanks to a translation or prophecy interpretation problem, he thinks he is not supposed to hunt them at home (the himalaya) and thus joined Cold Comfort in the hopes that he might run across one in any other cold region of the planet.

You can easily detect him. He might be always clad in winter-parkas or a thermo suite, but his high build and his tail usually let hims stand out. He showed to have incredible balance (thanks to his tail) and was fast at learnign skying, snowboarding and even the use of snow mobile and other modern things. However he only uses his three handmade traditional weapons (a total psych complication): A bow with conventional arrows, a sort of staff or a two handed sword of primitve design. They are verfy effective and he can also fight hand to hand.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

Snowathlete

"I am here to snowball people and chew bublegum." These words sound a lot more concerning when you realise that he is a fully blown special ops soldier. Like Snowdragon he comes from an alternate dimension. Relative to ours, their sports and warefare are the oposite of what they are for us: What we regard as sport is their warfare, what they regard as (non-lethal) sport is our warfare. As such his name literally means "Snow Comando". His equipment of snow weapons (like the snow gun and the snow bazoka) look rather hilarious, but anybody on the not so secure end easily was convinced that this guy is though business. That he has a full blown war training only makes things worse.

He is the teams tactics expert and is consitently traing to convince Snowdragon to use more modern weapons.

He is a athletic criminal (=war criminal) in his world. It is likely that the

U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association of his world (the Military Police for Snow Comandos) is going to find him rather soon.

Douglas Robert McKensly is the twin brother of Stick. Originaly after him to recover the enharadance, he joined Cold Confort because thay look like thay were haveing fun, eh. So, outfited in a spair Stick outfit sprayed another color, he became Puck. Watch out for there battle cry of "Aroo-koo-koo-aroo-koo-koo!"

(You got three chances to get the reference in Stick and Puck, hosehead. If you can't get it, take off, eh.)

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

The Bi-Athlete is a duplicator who is also an excellent sniper. He isn't much for skiing, however, and will use a snowmobile whenever he can get away with it. Since he can only produce one duplicate (and frankly, the recombination process messes with his mind a bit as both of their memories merge) he doesn't tend to use this power in combat so it is not generally known.

New Team: High Finance is a group of six super-powered individuals who all worked in the financial services sector at one time (it can be before they had powers) and now have grudges against their former employers and others of that ilk. Their crimes are exclusively against banks, mortgage companies, credit card companies, or other financial institutions. They claim to be Robin Hood-types, but they actually keep a majority of the stolen money for themselves. Members should be something related to banking, finance, money, etc. (either in name, powers, or what-not).

High Risk

In the financial services sector you always get gamblers, those who play the odds with other people's money and one of these was Nelson T. Craig. He had wins and losses but when he won the winnings were spectacular. Due to that he led a high rolling life style. And all of that can attract envy and jealousy. So it was no surprise when he was killed in a plane crash. Soon after the recession hit when Lehmann brothers went down and it became convenient to blame the late, unlamented Mr Craig for the losses and the reckless gambles. Except that he was still alive and now he wanted revenge on the people who tried to kill him and blacken his name. What he had not been aware of is that some supervillains had invested money with him and had done well off it. They arranged for him to see a specialist Dr Nymax! who did a full paranormal spectrogram analysis of him. The mad genius concluded that Nelson had some minor power which could be boosted. Nelson now operates as High Risk stealing from the finance sector but also endangering the lives of those who charge with sadistic games where the loser may not only lose money but also their life.

It is hard being a CEO of merers and aquitions of a stock trading company normaly. When your name, Patrick Baitman, happens to be the same name as the 'hero'/seiral killer of the infamous satair noval/splater punk noval American Psycho, eventuly people begin to wonder. And when it comes time to downsize, your the first to go.

Wanting revenge on his former company, he bought a speed incresing suit and arm blades from ARGENT and became Cut'n'run. Eventuly, he joined High Finance as there speedster.

Re: Create a Villain Theme Team!

The brick of High Finance is known as Vault. A bank teller who was blamed for large-scale money transfers actually done by a master-hacker supervillain (Doctor Wyrm), Vincent Alderman was fired and fell into a deep depression. It was during this time, wandering the back alleys while drunk, that... something... happened to Vince. It's all a blur in Vince's head -- he thinks he was nabbed and used as a lab rat, but somehow escaped after the treatment. Regardless, he's now able to lift or push large amounts of weight, with most of his strength concentrated in his lower body. (He can lift many tons, but his punch isn't much to write home about.) However, he is able to leap incredible distances. Playing to these strengths, he has learned Savate and also got an outfit with glider wings to allow him to leap far up and then drop down onto a target in a "death-from-above" move-through.
