Cygnia
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Erika O'Connor was middle-aged, divorced and lonely. The sight-seeing tour of Greece and its myriad of islands had produced no promising hook-ups. Erika wasn't unattractive, but she had no charm or charisma and exuded desperation. As yet another Grecian nighttime beach dance continued without her getting anyone interested in her, Erika instead wandered off down the rocky coastline in the dark. And that's when she stumbled into the cave. A lost hidden temple! This was the stuff only movies dealt with, right?! Perfectly preserved with statues of humanoid beasts and disturbing frescoes of nightmares. And there, on the altar, was a golden choker. Drawn to it, Erika ignored common sense and put it on... ...and became the chosen of Hecate, the new CIRCE! Imbued with power, Circe now uses her magic to bend men's wills to hers as well as to "enhance" the more promising ones in terms of combat (and yes, bedroom prowess). She calls her favorite followers the Stallions. death tribble

death tribble
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The one Stallion Circe did not find but instead found her was Katana. He dresses like a Ninja but his face is always showing. And although he is more than capable with many weapons he most often wields a Katana which is usually slung on his back. Whilset the others may be better looking or have particular enhancements, Katana is the most skilled in combat. And when his mistress entertains it is Katana that stands guard. He never speaks or has been seen to. One look at Circe and a nod or another physical gesture and Katana does it. Indeed it is said that the only time he spoke was on the night they first met when he demonstrated his combat prowess with a number of weapons before turning to her and slicing his hand with the Katana stating 'My blood instead of yours, now and forever, Mistress'. Unlike the others he does not compete for her attention but woe betide the person who even thinks of trying to hurt his mistress. They are very likely to lose their heads. Cygnia
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Sam Grant had it all -- looks, brilliant intellect, a great job in the field of robotic engineering, his beautiful wife Penny and baby son Theo. It was just a simple business trip to Hong Kong -- a trip he had made several times earlier with no troubles. He wasn't expecting to run into an ex-college girlfriend. Well, not really a serious girlfriend. Erika was just too clingy even then... Sam disappeared from his hotel. His company, the authorities and Penny have no leads yet as to what could have happened. Meanwhile, Circe has her new gadgeteer (and a small modicum of revenge) in the man she dubs as Ulysses. He fights in an armored body suit capable of flight and firing stun rays. Much like the myths of old, there's a small part of Sam who still remembers his wife and son and is desperately trying to fight Circe's control... Crimson
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Luke Moore was the runt of a family of movie stars. He had looks and talent enough to make it, if only he wasn't always being compared to his better looking and more talented brothers. He got suppporting roles in a number of swashbuckling and sci fi movies and even tried his hand at tv, but his career was going nowhere. The only thing he had going for him was that he always did his own stunts. He mastered several fighting styles while waiting for his agent to call. He waited a lot. His life changed when he happened to meet Circe. It turns out that she liked the idea of adding a movie star to her stallions. He was handsome enough not to need enhancement and he already had fighting skills, just a little enhancement to his abilities was in order. With his preexisting narcissism, he only needed flattery and a small application of her charms to agree to join up. He uses his connections, acting skills, and combat abilities to serve Circe's cause as Heartthrob!

Nothere
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Edgar Wilcox was a fat, older, balding head of a chemical company. He went to Greece expecting nothing more more than to see the great historical sites, and be ignored by the women. One night during a beach party the unexpected happened. A beautiful woman, came up to him. When she seemed interested in him, a voice in his head screamed it was some kind of set up. When she started asking about how many dangerous chemicals he knew how to make, he knew it was a set up. But his instincts couldn't overcome Cierce's magic. When he explained about a new process he had developed, she decided to transform him into a stallion. His youth was restored but his hair remained white. His weight vanished into musle. And most ioimportanty for Cierce's plans he gained the ability to manufacture the new chemical from his body. Firing the yelllowish substance from his fingers, he could use it to disolve steel or harden into a yellowish shell. Now Midas is one of Cierce's most devoted followers. Mr Wonderful He's strong, he's tough and he's also handsome, he is Mr Wonderful ! And boy does he know it. He does not see the others as any competition. He is as dumb as they come. But he was not selected for his intelligence. He believes that Circe only selected the others as she needed specialists for certain tasks. He has no idea that the others qualify as part of her harem. He thinks that she only cares for him. Yes he is that much of a Narcissus, That is his name to the others but to him he is MR Wonderful. He can punch through steel plate but would need to be told to by Circe to do it. New Team: The FBI's most wanted did not start until the 50s (IIRC) and nowadays there are lists upon lists. One popular one has become Most Evil. Last year after Osama Bin Laden's death the Most Evil list contained only Supervillains. Well some of them decided to band together for protection. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to list one of the six members who have banded together. You must also list what they did to get on the Most Evil list. Optionally you can list whether they are actually guilty of what they are accused of. One villain per poster.
Badger
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! Silencer is a mercenary/assassin with a chameleon ability to blend in to his surroundings (appropriate for his job). He has killed at least 17 high profile targets (and possibly dozens of other lesser targets). Not to mention those "in the way" of target. Silencer in truth, has an extreme lust for blood and mayhem. The money was just an added bonus for his hobby. In truth, he really has no fear of death and has no desire for protection. He figures if they kill him (yes, kill, he doesnt plan on being taken alive) then hats off to them. He joined solely from invite from one of the others. He is for here for other reasons, known only to him (and likely only rational to him). The various agencies have been frustrated as they have had little success at gaining clues to his true ID. Formerly from Pretoria, Piers (aka Doctor Pox) is a rabid white supremacist, longing to return South Africa back to the days of Apartheid. The last sightings had him in Europe, possibly trying to connect with violent nationalist, anti-immigrant groups and suspected in the mass murder via a mutated strain of anthrax at a mosque in Bonn. Nothere
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The fact that he's on the most evil list dosen't surprise him. He kneew when he began he would be reviled and hunted. But it has to be done. The world's supertechnology is failing to keep the world population fed and safe. And that population currently stands at 7 billion, and growing. Fortunatly the world's populaion is ageing, and while birth rates are dropping again it's not enough. There is only one rational solution. But it's a terrible one. Thats why when he began he decided to operate quietly. No fancy outfit. No silly supername. Just his ability to turn sound into deadly projectiles, and a mission that needs to be done for the sake of a humanity that will hate him. So far he has struck at three nurseries, two orphanages, and five childrens medical centers. It's no surprise to him he's on the list of 10 most evil people. It;s no surprise to him they have given him a fancy name. No the only thing Babykiller would be surprised by is people understanding that is we choke the flow of new people, the dying off of the current stock will save the world. death tribble
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The Killer A cold blooded assassin who has two custom made laser pistols which fit around his hand (similar to the lasers in Space 1999), he ended up on the list for running across a school playground and killing the children and one teacher who tried to stop him. What condemned him in the eyes of the Public thereafter was what he said when one heroine confronted him demanding to know why ? He replied calmly 'Target Practice'. He killed all but one child as cover for the true target, the son of a gangland figure who went underground. By making it seem like he was on a spree killing, the police (and heroes) would not realise the true motive for the atack. The gangland figure has found out his son is dead and is coming for The Killer which was the idea all along.

death tribble
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The Devilfish In the future there will be no water based villains, just The Devilfish. Described as a Deep One with an attitude problem or a Sahuagin in dire need of acting lessons, The Devilfish is a part man/part fish villain who wears a cape. Some say he saw too many Bela Lugosi Dracula films as a tadpole. Or too many pulp serials from the 1930s. Either way The Devilfish is almost always seen with a a cape which he will swirl in front of his face to hide it. But that does not cover up his eyes and ears or the peculiarly fishy smell he exudes. He can use a little real magic plus he uses stage magic like slight of hand, smoke pellets etc to achieve his ends. The fact that he also has enhanced strength, can hold his breath underwater for a very long time and can dive to unknown depths helps as well. Christopher
Re: Create a Villain Theme Team! The Henchmen for Villains must normally be well equipped to deal with the moodswings of thier masters. But The Brain is such bad as a boss, he only can use Robotic henchen and stil goes through a lot in a week. Enough that one production line is permantly busy just creating new material to throw against his rages. But that isn't a problem, after all Brain built that production line very good an efficient. That is no wonder, because "Brain is the smartest there is!", as he says it. The trick with him is that "the madder he get's, the smarter he gets" - so when he trows a tantrum and blasts henchmen left and right, he makes plans to wich Dr. Destoryers plans look like made by a 3 year old. And his personality is rather childish, so he tend to get mad a lot. Only problem is that once he cools down he forget most of the reasoning behind his plans steps (but he rarely forgots parts of them). So in effect he (and often the group) follows a plan that he does not understand anymore. But they still work out most of the time (Brain get's smart enough to plan with his own "calm stupidity"). Nobody knows exactly how he got that way, but most think it was a botched up "inteligence augmentation spell" or a malfunctioning "intelligence augmentation artifact" and he is a warning for all magicians who think about dabling in that art.
