He has the potential to be one of the worlds greatest forces for good. Unfortunately, he feels that he has the great deeds of his father and grandfather to live up to. He tends to jump into battles he is not ready for. He relies on his great strength to solve all problems, even when he should use cunning or trickery. Most of all, he is not a good team player. He sees himself as the natural leader of the Aesir, his teammates don't really agree. He sees combat as a competition with the other heroes and spends an inordinate amount of downtime bragging about his exploits. Many is the time that his battle lust and impatience has forced the Aesir to bail him out of a jam. For all his faults, when it matters he really is good in a fight. While it is true that Facet isn't the best guy to Disguise himlsef(unless they need to replace a Janitor/Fly Fusion), he has other assets. Among them is that he can "detach" and regrow each single eye in his face. The detached eye still works and transmits information to him (for a time), effecitvely providing him a unlimited supply of mini-cameras. However being blind in normal and cat form would be a bigger handicap. Not so for Blind Spot, as he also has a very fine supernatural "Electromagnetism sense". When his normal eyesight was taken from him his brain compensated by improving not his hearing or touch, but his Electrosense - right to the point where he can feel the visible spectrum just as well and detailed as the human eye can do. Iris When Iris (full name Iris Iridascent) stumbeled into a temple of Iris (greek personification of Rainbows) and touched an atrifact she was shocked to discover that she had turned Iris (the color) and felt pain whenever she tried to lie. But she also discovered that she could change her skin into every colors (like the rainbow) and shrink/grow (like the part of the eye), so she still joined the I-Spies. Retina of the I-Spies however is able to put pictures into reality - she has very advanced illusion powers, wich include selfdisguise as well as optical illusions. She also has a Photographic memory, a talent very handy of you can't smuggle a camera along. Sorry that I bogged that team, but I was somewhat in denial of making a hero I don't have a next team, so the first one that cries "here" can make one. They are not public heroes. Indeed, they probably only could be "just" considered heroes, as they are willing to use any method to permanently take down threats. Their goal is to play the long game and ferret out the Man Behind the Man as it were -- the ones who are REALLY pulling the strings. He inherited control of the world in the area where that king once ruled. Unfortunately for Mark the area is approximately the Bermuda Triangle. Everything in that area has to obey his will, but his power does not extend out of the realm of his fathers. It has been enough to earn him the name Captain Sargasso. By all regards he would have been a better ruler than his older brother. But rules demanded him to rule and he was wise enough to only become his brothers advisor. But with the time and bad advisors, his brother started to develop a unfounded fear of his better siblings. He began taking the wrong actions, doing things just because Pharaoh advised for the other course of action. Still the younger brother searched the problem in himself. Finally his older brother lost it and entombed his younger sibling alive. The years passed. Then decades. Then centuries. Then milennia. Now, after all he ever hoped to protect was lost, the Pharaoh escaped his crypt. Now the whole world is his "Kingdom to protect" and he has learned one lesson: If he cannot be the ruler, he must be the one ruling in the background. You see, years ago he grew tired of his figurehead job and summoned an alternate universe version of himself (one from a world where Spain had been wiped out by the Nazis). The double took over his job, and the King of Spain moved to America, where he became head chef at Papa Legba's Pizza in Minneapolis. While he tells the truth about who he is, most of his customers and associates believe it to be an elaborate joke or at worst a harmless delusion. Spain's power is summoning alternate universe versions of people, but he cannot control them once they're present and must use his persuasive skills thereafter. Who believes he is a king without a country (kind of like our Spanish friend, except he really is just friggin' crazy). Malcolm's main power is to somehow nullify a foe's powers (essentially making him the ultimate energy shield in a way) He calls himself King Nothing, and no he has never heard of Metallica. These 8 heroes are preparing for worst case scenario. While they fight crime (and other type hero activities)Whatever cataclysm will befall the Earth in December they will be there to form the "resistance" whatever that imposes. Although, some may have attempted to prevent the oncoming disaster, they are now fatalistic that it WILL happen. They just might not know what IT is. Absalom Withers is the true last army veteran of the former Confederacy. At some point after the war he was turned to vampirism when in hiding in Mexico. It was in Mexico, where he learned about Aztec and Mayan history. And delving deeper learned of some "darker" parts of the Mayan prediction. However, despite being a vampire he refuses to drink human blood. (and makes out quite well surprisingly on livestock). Ever the Southern gentleman he prefers 1-on-1 sword duel (or 1-on-1 duels at least, obviously the opponent might fight with other means). The vampiric strength and speed enhances his expert swordsmanship quite well. He also provides military tactics and over 150 years of life experience to the group. The Idiot Savant Eddie McNair has been preparing for the coming end after being informed by a wise man after one his stays in the local psych ward. With his inventive but eccentric mind, he has been devising a large number weapons and contraptions to arm up and has accrued a many seemingly ineffective but surprisingly useful artifacts; however, he recently started trying to warn society of the impending doom but so far has not been taken seriously which is probably because walking around with a sign that reads "The End is Near" is viewed more than a little strange much to the frequent surprise of Eddie. Blessed with magical powers, those powers were enhanced when the day after the alignment she came across a mysterious stone that apparently had captured some of the energies from the event. Soon she would use it to repel a great opposing tribes onslaught against her people. The battle weakened her, she was forced into hibernation. She woke several years ago. And has been preparing for the upcoming alignment, as she believes the Great, Evil Tribe will return. SHe can become frustrated from the culture shock she still experiences, but her powers enhanced by the stone have proven valuable. And apparently the stone's powers has completely halted her aging. She has come to be known as Seer Note: Thought about naming her Oracle, but felt it was a bit too much. Couldn't think of a appropriate codename, but given her background she might not need one.
