Black Falcon flys to the top of a building with a portable cooler full of great stuff to drink, and meets some friends who flew up with a grill. They will watch the fireworks from there. Shade is on his boat with friends, spear fishing for dinner, and coming in close to shore for fireworks. Psidestep teleports to Epcottt center for the best fireworks ever. He too will grab a rooftop seat, and summon 4 babes to share the good times with him... Red Dragon will march in a parade. Play with friends, Barbeque, Drink to excess, make some inebriated comments (in public) about Green Dragon being a pansy, and wake up the next morning with no memory of fireworks or the fact that he wore his costume inside out when he made those comments on TV... Vibora Bay probably has its fireworks display over water, so Amphibion would get a good view. He'd probably be in the local parade too. Stormwalker would be making sure the local weather was perfect (including a little shower some time after midnight to douse any leftover smouldering fireworks that were overlooked) and might even contribute a few tricks with lightning bolts to the fireworks display. Can Opener would participate in a cookout. As the cook. And the grill. Quetzlcoatl would probably be in a parade - in his secret ID. He's a veteran. Black Mask spends the holiday with his family and friends doing traditional things--picnics, fireworks, etc. Rose Hancock attends some public event where she can be anonymous and enjoy the festivities. Black Knight finds the most boisterous event possible, and spends the day eating, drinking, boozing it up, cavorting with willing females, and generally partying as hard as you'd imagine an immortal 20-year old brick who lives life on the edge would. Iron Maiden spends part of the day with friends, swimming, picnicking, etc. When it's time for fireworks, she slips away to take to the sky to watch them with an unobstructed view nothing else will match. After the fireworks, she finds her boyfriend du jour (or a cooperative stranger) and takes him to bed for some fireworks of their own. He's a veteran and advertises it - but notes he served in the states in logistics. Olorin - A mage that started as a fire mage in the fourth of July? Think Gandalf in Hobbiton in the Lord of the Rings. He'd hold his own fireworks show. Complete with moving explosions. Black tiger. - Quietly watch a parade in his secret id. He's also a veteran, but does not advertise it. Leadman - Another veteran. Would march in a parade in his secret ID. Futurian - "Oh wow! Sound and light explosions." He'd watch the nearest big fireworks near where he lives. Have typical food. Maybe a beer or two. (He prefers a drink that has not been invented yet. Watch fireworks afterword. He's a vet, but doesn't advertise it. Goliath - His teammates will sit him where he can't do any damage and feed him hot dogs and let him watch the pretty fireworks. Steel Panther - Does whatever his family does. He's a minor. El Mago - a wealthy Spanish nobleman living in the U.S., he's probably been invited to a high class party in his Secret ID. He'll attend. War Wolf would have a father-daughter picnic with Arsenal, but they're both robots so there's really nothing they can cook that makes sense. Plus, neither are technically citizens (of anywhere) so there's not that big impetus. I'm sure they both set off some minimissiles in a safe manner, though. Vixen is one of those 'pfft, whatEVar' sorts about it. She doesn't likely know enough about history to make herself care; she doesn't know her Bunker Hill from a hole in the ground, C- student that she is ... if there's free food involved she might go, but past that she'll likely be mall-crawling (like every other day she's not in school). Disclaimer: Since I have not played for some time the following are basically based on a few of the many characters I have been developing but that have never seen play....Okay, now that that disclaimer (and perhaps not so subtle plea to help me find a game to join) is over.... Sekkou: If it's a day off that implies (if the weather is good) an ambling walk through the Chelsea neighborhood of NYC that he calls home. Then perhaps a picnic in Central Park with his partner (in more ways than one) BowStar. And as evening falls probably joining the multitudes watching the cities fireworks. BowStar: Much like her partner Sekkou - a walk through the city, a picnic lunch, fireworks. And perhaps most importantly for her a stop at the memorial to her father, the Golden Age hero Kandor, that is located in the South Eastern part of Central Park. He died there after stopping an attack on the city by his nemesis Adamant. Ozark Ace: Most likely flying...He would find most any excuse to take his jet-pack up and just do some soaring....Of course, he's basically a Teen Champions character so it would be unreasonable to expect much more. Kiviuq: Barbecue. Lot's of meat. Red meat. Then, if he is in his hometown, watching fireworks on TV. Because his hometown is Fairbanks AK and it's not really dark enough at this time of year for a decent fireworks show. Kurzhaan the Conqueror would probably just tag along with friends; the actual holiday doesn't mean anything to him, but he always loves a good party. Super Model would probably head to Times Square to watch the fireworks, then attend a gala wearing something patriotic and impractical. I'm envisioning something along the lines of Columbia. Young Scratch has a movement power called "Infernal Comet" that lets him zoom in a 400m high fiery arc before exploding in a burst of flames wherever he lands. He doesn't grand marshall any parades since the incidents in '78, '84, '87 and '88, where villains used it as a reason to cause mayhem. Anthem. Lights a candle for her mom (a deceased war hero) at the local church and does her patrol, finishing off the night by attending a fireworks show in plain clothes. Audra Blue. A naturalized citizen, she watches various feeds of fireworks from around the country and feels a little sad as she recalls the first show she attended as a citizen and how none of her friends are around any more. Normal stuff. Mr. Blackwings - He's homeless, blind, and fireworks scares the crows away, so he'll be busking in the parks and watching the city in places where the fireworks aren't going off. Senor Mysterio - He'll tilt one back for his friends to the north, but otherwise its just another day in Mexico. Bingo the Clowno - Typical BBQ and set off fireworks with the wife and kids.
