Re: White Dwarfs maybe it was reduced to a maxim because not everbody believes it
  10. Re: Shield-based deflection power? Sounds rather sus, and user unfriendly

    White Dwarfs

Re: White Dwarfs one proble with white dwarfs (until they have cooled A LOT) is that they put out hight levels of HHigh frequency stuff like Ultra Violet, x-ray and gamma, meaning you probably need an extra "strong" filter of an atmosphere
  18. Re: Exoplanet detection news but I'm sure we could achieve a suspended animation between now and then
  19. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Baywatch Knight Rider - Mitch and Michael team up
  20. Re: Exoplanet detection news you know, "Hot Jupiter" sounds like an exclamation made by a Side Kick in a 1950's Pulp SF comic
  21. Re: Genre-crossover nightmares The Running Man vs Wild - Like Man vs Wild, but he is being chased by carnivores at all times
  22. Re: How would you build a cheap detect supernatural or detect magic? If its sight based, then it applies to anything you can see (and thus ranged), and suffer any penalties applied to seeing things (like not work in Darkness, penalties for seeing at night, range penalties, etc)
  23. Re: KAs vs CvK The concept of the "glass canon" means you could come across an enemy who has dangerous lazer-eyes, but depends on kevlar for protection.
