  1. Navigation (Faerie Trods/Ley Lines) & TF: Faerie Trods/Ley Lines Based on the FTL Pilot talent found in StarHERO. "...less than 12 parsecs."
  2. "You have a great need for other adventures to like & admire you." "Your class change has caused problems for you." "At times you have serious doubts as to whether you should go right or left." "You prefer a certain amount of treasure & experience & become dissatisfied when hemmed in by dungeons & dragons." "You have found it unwise to be too frank in revealing your alignment to others." "Some of your limited wishes tend to be full on wishes."
  3. People donate blood for Prestige in live-action Vampire games. http://www.mindseyesociety.org/player-tools/prestige/ Macabre!
  4. What If? the Followers had: Barrier (w/ Feedback, Non-Anchored, AoE(Surface) & Activation Roll) to allow the Followers to protect different parts of the PC's body using the Followers' own bodies... Clinging so the Followers can stick to the PC... Shrinking to reduce the Followers' burden on the PC... ... & Shape Shift to make the Followers look inobvious? I imagine that if all the Followers acted together it would negate the Activation Roll on the Barrier. To do this each Follower might represent a specific Hit Location on the PC. I like Clinging, Shrinking & Shape Shifting more than Summon because then the Followers will always be around. "I got your back!" "I got your nose!" "I got your joke!"
  5. Bribery is such an ugly word. People need to eat. We are people of the world. I'm sure a mutually satisfactory arrangement can be reached w/o anyone being the wiser. Help me help you. Your leisure is my pleasure. What is it that you really want? You'll get it. No strings. Let us never speak of this again.
  6. Players should not be able to purchase in-game currency w/ out-of-game currency. Favors are different.
  7. Don't watch D&D the movie... ... or worship the TARDIS... ... or you will be sent to the mazes.
  8. Pre-built characters are gold. HEROSystem is not finished. Asking a new player to make a character is like asking that person to make a whole new game.
  9. Tom Baker is the real thing. He played an elf in D&D the movie.
  10. The TARDIS is more of a living sentient artificial pocket dimension than a vehicle. However you can ride on the outside of it if you want to. Captain Jack Harkness rode it like a cat stuck in a tree all the way to the heat-death of the universe. Mind you Harkness had been immortalized by the TARDIS prior to doing this. The outer police box shell is an indestructible camouflage/decoy/illusion projected into this universe from nowhere where the TARDIS is. The only way to get into or out of the TARDIS is w/ the Doctor's key. I would build the TARDIS as an extra-dimensional character like Doctor Manhattan.
  11. "Blood Money" (list) both Unified Power (-1/4) & IIF (-1/4): (7 pts) +10 Money: Wealthy (7 pts) +10 BODY If the BODY of the character w/ Blood Money is affected by Negative Adjustment Powers, that person's Money Perk is also equally & simultaneously affected. Likewise vice versa. "Alway hit them where it hurts the most." [edit] Added IIF.
  12. Marvel's Doom 2099 originally woke up as a young man w/o scars on his face, suffering from partial amnesia, & in obsolete powered armor. He got better. The mystery was underwhelming but satisfying.
  13. Restricted Recovery (6E1 372): "Some forms of Charges only replenish themselves if the character does something expensive... [e.g.] having to pay large sums of money... If so, increase the value of Charges by -1/4 (or more, in the GM's option)." Cue Costs Money. "Characters generally should not take Restricted Recovery for powers w/ Expendable Foci." ... but can. Expendability (6E1 378): "If the Focus is Difficult to acquire (...requires a little money, gold, or other resources to recover...), this is an additional -1/4 Limitation." "... Very Difficult... a lot of money or items of similar value... -1/2 Limitation." "... Extremely Difficult... a fortune for each one... the Limitation is worth an additional -1."
  14. If it can only control actions, not thoughts ,that is a variation of the Set Effect Limitation. -- Mind Control is an instant Mental Power w/ continuing effects. The way you describe the your electrical remote control Power, it sounds like it only works instantly w/o the lingering effects. Is this what you imagined? Costs Endurance To Maintain: "represents a continuing-effect Mental Power that costs END both to activate and to maintain. If the character wants to keep the Power working, he must pay END for it each phase; if he does not, in instantly stops affecting the target." (6E1 153) -- Rather than Based On CON, you might use Based On DEX which is more precisely about motor control. Then rule that characters affected by Based On DEX Mental Powers respond not to "the first person to give commands" but rather to "remote control". -- Manditory Effect: EGO +30, Target will perform actions he is violently opposed to doing (-3/4). -- The Machine Class Of Minds? What is that exactly? Do not most people's bodies essentially possess a mechanical element? Should not this mechanic element render characters prone to certain Mental Powers that attack Machine Class Of Minds? Idk
