EGO can be an "All Or Nothing" NND (Defense is having an EGO) for 1/2 less Advantage/more Limitation. NNDs are usually Rare. However since most living beings have EGO it may be a Very Common defense in the same category of frequency as PD & ED for AVADs. Detonate: Blast 6d6, Does BODY (+1)(60 active pts); NND (having an EGO, Very Common; -1/2). Total cost: 40 pts. "The latent energy inside inanimate objects can be harnessed, focused & released violently. Does not work on targets w/ free will."

Doubly useful if Normal Touch is lacking. Or whenever the GM is keeping track of damage in secret (e.g. Mystery Damage Campaign). What about Analyze:Self Diagnostic to get a full briefing from the Detect:Physical Status results?

Taking END Reserve damage from the BODY of attacks that hit your "force field" [see below] could be done w/ a special form of Susceptibility. -- If the last 6 points of the END Reserve battery were treated w/ "As Resistant PD/ED" (+2) then they would react as 6 Resistant PD/ED (at least) until whittled down by the above suggested Susceptibility.

"Knockdown or Knockback" [Move Through: FREd p.258] It depends on whether the game is Heroic or Superheroic. Knockdown is the standard fallback for Heroic games. Does Knockback (+1/4) is thus required for an attack to do Knockback.
