Re: Batman Begins saw it yesterday. i give it 4.5 stars out of a possible 5 stars. my only quibble was the "microwave projector". it should have been called something else....something techno-babblish like "non-lethal water vaporizor". it's a selective AoE that does not target water enclosed in living things, other wise the people, pets, etc. would have exploded. my 2 crowns (which is actually a lot more than $0.02) YMMV

Re: Disadvantages of being Undead The Brotherhood would hunt "it" down like the Evil servant of the Dark Soul that "it" is.....with flamethrowers,large calibre automatic weapons and the Art (magic basically)......regardless of "it" actually being an evil servant of the Dark Soul. you could substitute the Vatican for the Brotherhood if you wanted.

Re: Clix mod challenge ebay....i use the buy it now feature when i don't want to bid. and sometimes the buy it now price is a lot cheaper than what they go for in auctions. for example: i bought 10 ARC troopers for about $25 total (including insurance), but i have seen 4 go for that price at auction. and yes, i know that those are star wars miniatures not hero clix.....same difference IMO.

Re: Moon Knight........ actually, i don't remember him killing people as moon knight. i think he had to change his ways when khonshu brought him back to life. of course, khonshu didn't seem to mind maiming the "bad" guys. YMMV and i could be remembering it wrong.

Re: Weapon Name for Champions character? the mystic jade tetsubo of demon-thumping it's actually jade that has been mystically enhanced to be nearly unbreakable (or maybe not, this might not be true, or it's only true when fighting the forces of darkness/corruption/chaos/puppy-kicking ). or make it whatever you thought of........ it is your character. the sarcasm level will now go back to it's normal level. move along, nothing to see here........nothing to see.

Help me out. werewolf by night......you know, JJJ's astronaut son that became a werewolf (duuh?) by getting some weird gem grafted to his neck. he's since learned to control his transformations and doesn't go berserk anymore. otherwise a pretty classic werewolf without a contagious bite (i think). add in moon knight, because they go way back. way back before he became the fist of khonshu. which makes him a more realistic batman type (detective, martial artist) that becomes a brick as well during the full moon.

Re: Idea for a legally-blind NPC and her guide dog is that 20/225 with or without corrective lenses ??? i'm asking cause i have 20/475 without corrective lenses, but the glasses correct it to (supposedly) 20/20. i think it's closer to 20/40 (or worse) myself. i have a driver's license, i don't have any trouble seeing vehicles, road signs, etc., but don't ask me to read the bumper-sticker !!!

Re: Reference For DC the "Dark Angel" TV series. both seasons are available on DVD and there are three novels (one that takes place before season one, the other two take place after season two). of course this would be DC with a limited selection of powers available !

John Ridley: Those Who Walk In Darkness ISBN:0446612022 set in a world where America has outlawed being a "mutant", it's actually pretty good Iron-Age stuff. Having a super power got outlawed when a bad guy destroyed most of San Francisco. the main character is an MTAC cop that handles the super freaks.

Re: Monofilament Blade just a thought. the monomolecular edge cuts through things very easily, and the rest of the "blade" continues the separation of pieces-parts until they permanently separate. or am i not seeing something ?

Re: How to Read the Firearms Table every laser could be used for a flash attack (sight). there is a reason every laser device i've ever seen has a warning label about not aiming it at someone's eyes.

Re: How to Read the Firearms Table they make laser sights that fit inside the gun, replacing the recoil spring guide rod. there's another that fits on the front of the trigger guard that's approximately the size of the eraser on a standard #2 pencil. these are both for glocks, will look for images and edit post if i find them.
