  1. Off to Surbrook's Stuff I have just sent the finalized character files (many updates) and background data to Susano for his character archive. Hopefully he will like it enough to host on his site.
  2. Re: Marciano's Twelve Sisters And now all Twelve have been completed. The Triplets is probably the best character design of the group. This is because I have been refining my original builds as I got more members of the team finished. In fact the sisters posted previous to this have all be revised to one degree or another. I am still debating whether or not to do a write-up for Madame Marciano herself. Though she is a good combatant (she is a cyborg), she is not as good as her children. She is more of a mastermind character and when she did let her thirst for vengeance drive her into personal combat she was slain. This left the Eleven remaining sisters (September was destroyed earlier) as free agents. I may or may not get around to updating the posts above with the finalized versions. It is actually a lot of work setting up the posts. Regardless I will be submitting the Sisters and their background to Susano for his character archive. I will post a link here once he get them set-up on his website. Now I guess I will start thinking about Madame Marciano.

She is a combat android and one of Marciano’s Twelve Sisters. They were probably built by Dr. Neilson, an employee of Marciano who handles all of the maintenance and repair work on the sisters. Their true age and previous history are never revealed but they and all of their sisters have been around long enough to gain a reputation as deadly assassins. Madame Marciano the owner/employer of the sisters is a cyborg. As such she is incapable of having children and this may be a factor in the bitterness that she displays. The triplets and all of their sisters are the daughters that Marciano could never have. In addition to being her own personal hit squad the sisters act as her servants and children. Personality/Motivation: The triplets seem to be little more than children as far as their personalities are concerned. They are often seen making child like pleas to get their way. In a later episode they gather around June as she uses one of her knives to open a container for them all the while chanting “canned peaches, canned peaches!” In another instance when the sisters are getting ready to embark on a mission they plead, “We’re hungry, can we eat first mother?” They are still loyal to Marciano and seem to enjoy their missions as much as any of the sisters. In their case it seems to be even more of a game. They take child-like delight in breaking things and causing general mayhem. Despite this behavior they are intelligent and focused enough to perform the tasks set before them. The triplets seem to be inseparable and do everything together. On the battlefield or off, we never see them more than a few feet away from each other. Even when piloting a space fighter they occupy a special three-seat model. One can only assume that they share a deep bond and heaven only knows what the reaction would be if one of them was destroyed in combat. The survivors could become useless with grief, or they could become enraged terrors. Quote: “Aren’t we there yet? We are so bored, we wanna go play.” Powers/Tactics: At first glance it would appear that the triplets are the weakest of the sisters and most of the time this seems true. However in episode one the three of them work together to flip a heavy armored truck with a gleeful shout of “Upsey-Dasiy!” This indicates that they have a strength boost of some sort perhaps intended to take advantage of their little girl appearance. The triplets wear teddy bear backpacks when in the field and each carries an H&K MP5 Submachine gun inside it. They are very effective in the use of these guns and it is often the three of them that lay down the highest concentration of fire for the sisters. They are capable of taking on missions without the oversight of their older appearing sisters as shown when the three of them take over the gate control room of a space station during the series. Campaign Use: The triplets never seem to seek out melee combat as many of the other sisters do. This reinforces the idea that their remarkable strength is limited to things like coordinated lifting. The triplets are probably best used as ranged combatants with their MP5s. The triplets do everything together and each has teamwork usable only with the other two. Together they can pin down most enemies or riddle anyone silly enough to try and go toe to toe with them. The triplets should always be used together. Appearance: The triplets are the youngest appearing of the sisters. They don’t look to be any older than eight or perhaps even younger. Their costumes look like a Victorian-era sailor suits. They have blond hair with pony tails and large brown eyes. Each of them wears a teddy bear backpack, one green, one brown and one pink. If it wasn’t for the different colors of the backpacks they would be indistinguishable from one another. Being children they are no more than 3’8” tall. They weigh a surprising amount due to their android physiology.
  4. Re: Jokes OUT OF GAS A little girl asked her Mom, "Mom, may I take the dog for a walk around the block?" Mom replies, "No, because she is in heat." "What's that mean?" asked the child. "Go ask your father. I think he's in the garage." The little girl goes to the garage and says, "Dad, may I take Belle for a walk around the block? I asked Mom, but she said the dog was in heat, and to come to you." Dad said, "Bring Belle over here." He took a rag, soaked it with gasoline, and scrubbed the dog's backside with it to disguise the scent, and said "OK, you can go now, but keep Belle on the leash and only go one time round the block." The little girl left and returned a few minutes later with no dog on the leash. Surprised, Dad asked, "Where's Belle?" The little girl said, "She ran out of gas about halfway down the block, so another dog is pushing her home."
  5. Roping a Deer Roping A Deer ...Names have been removed to protect the stupid ! Actual Letter from someone who writes, and farms. I had this idea that I was going to rope a deer, put it in a stall, feed it up on corn for a couple of weeks, then kill it and eat it. The first step in this adventure was getting a deer. I figured that, since they congregate at my cattle feeder and do not seem to have much fear of me when we are there (a bold one will sometimes come right up and sniff at the bags of feed while I am in the back of the truck not 4 feet away), it should not be difficult to rope one, get up to it and toss a bag over its head (to calm it down) then hog tie it and transport it home. I filled the cattle feeder then hid down at the end with my rope. The cattle, having seen the roping thing before, stayed well back. They were not having any of it. After about 20 minutes, my deer showed up -- 3 of them. I picked out a likely looking one, stepped out from the end of the feeder, and threw my rope. The deer just stood there and stared at me. I wrapped the rope around my waist and twisted the end so I would have a good hold. The deer still just stood and stared at me, but you could tell it was mildly concerned about the whole rope situation. I took a step towards it...it took a step away. I put a little tension on the rope and then received an education. The first thing that I learned is that, while a deer may just stand there looking at you funny while you rope it, they are spurred to action when you start pulling on that rope. That deer EXPLODED. The second thing I learned is that pound for pound, a deer is a LOT stronger than a cow or a colt. A cow or a colt in that weight range I could fight down with a rope and with some dignity. A deer-- no chance. That thing ran and bucked and twisted and pulled. There was no controlling it and certainly no getting close to it. As it jerked me off my feet and started dragging me across the ground, it occurred to me that having a deer on a rope was not nearly as good an idea as I had originally imagined. The only upside is that they do not have as much stamina as many other animals. A brief 10 minutes later, it was tired and not nearly as quick to jerk me off my feet and drag me when I managed to get up. It took me a few minutes to realize this, since I was mostly blinded by the blood flowing out of the big gash in my head. At that point, I had lost my taste for corn-fed venison. I just wanted to get that devil creature off the end of that rope. I figured if I just let it go with the rope hanging around its neck, it would likely die slow and painfully somewhere. At the time, there was no love at all between me and that deer. At that moment, I hated the thing, and I would venture a guess that the feeling was mutual. Despite the gash in my head and the several large knots where I had cleverly arrested the deer's momentum by bracing my head against various large rocks as it dragged me across the ground, I could still think clearly enough to recognize that there was a small chance that I shared some tiny amount of responsibility for the situation we were in, so I didn't want the deer to have it suffer a slow death, so I managed to get it lined back up in between my truck and the feeder - a little trap I had set before hand...kind of like a squeeze chute. I got it to back in there and I started moving up so I could get my rope back. Did you know that deer bite? They do! I never in a million years would have thought that a deer would bite somebody, so I was very surprised when I reached up there to grab that rope and the deer grabbed hold of my wrist. Now, when a deer bites you, it is not like being bit by a horse where they just bite you and then let go. A deer bites you and shakes its head --almost like a pit bull. They bite HARD and it hurts. The proper thing to do when a deer bites you is probably to freeze and draw back slowly. I tried screaming and shaking instead. My method was ineffective. It seems like the deer was biting and shaking for several minutes, but it was likely only several seconds. I, being smarter than a deer (though you may be questioning that claim by now) tricked it. While I kept it busy tearing the bejesus out of my right arm, I reached up with my left hand and pulled that rope loose. That was when I got my final lesson in deer behavior for the day. Deer will strike at you with their front feet. They rear right up on their back feet and strike right about head and shoulder level, and their hooves are surprisingly sharp. I learned a long time ago that, when an animal -- like a horse --strikes at you with their hooves and you can't get away easily, the best thing to do is t ry to make a loud noise and make an aggressive move towards the animal. This will usually cause them to back down a bit so you can escape. This was not a horse. This was a deer, so obviously, such trickery would not work. In the course of a millisecond, I devised a different strategy. I screamed like a woman and tried to turn and run. The reason I had always been told NOT to try to turn and run from a horse that paws at you is that there is a good chance that it will hit you in the back of the head. Deer may not be so different from horses after all, besides being twice as strong and 3 times as evil, because the second I turned to run, it hit me right in the back of the head and knocked me down. Now, when a deer paws at you and knocks you down, it does not immediately leave. I suspect it does not recognize that the danger has passed. What they do instead is paw your back and jump up and down on you while you are laying there crying like a little girl and covering your head. I finally managed to crawl under the truck and the deer went away. So now I know why when people go deer hunting they bring a rifle with a scope so that they can be somewhat equal to the Prey.

She is one of Marciano’s Twelve Sisters and a combat android that was probably built by Dr. Neilson. Her true age and previous history are never revealed. She, and all of the sisters, have been around long enough to have gained a reputation as deadly assassins. Being a cyborg Marciano will never have children. Part of her bitterness is due to this. September and all of her sisters are the daughters that Marciano could never have so in addition to being her own personal hit squad they act has her servants and children. Personality/Motivation: September is impulsive and overconfident, a flaw that several of the sisters suffer from. In September’s case it proves to be fatal as she is destroyed in episode two, the only sister to meet her demise during the series. September enjoys combat and seems to feel that she must prove herself; she seemingly takes reckless risks in order to outdo her sisters. Whether the combat is hand-to-hand or ranged seems to make little difference to her. She is simply eager to engage and eliminate her target, if she does it before her sisters can arrive to provide support, so much the better. September is loyal to Madame Marciano and another explanation for her impulsive behavior could be that she wants Marciano to be proud of her. She never really speaks during her two cameo appearances during the series. This makes inventing a quote for her necessary. Quote: “One shot, one kill.” Powers/Tactics: September uses an M14A1 rifle with fixed bayonet. Her added strength means that the bayonet’s added weight causes her no problems. She acts like she wants to close with the enemy (most of the sisters do), however if range is an issue she is perfectly happy to snipe the enemy from a distance. The rifle only has its iron sights but her distance shooting indicates that she may be enhanced enough to not need a telescopic sight. Her marksmanship is superb; during episode one she goes three shots, three kills against the guards of Sandvil prison. She kills each with a headshot drifting down on a parachute, a truly remarkable feat of shooting. She seems to prefer single shots and in the anime we never see her using autofire bursts. Keeping the bayonet fixed on her weapons indicates that she prefers it that way so she must be skilled in its use. In episode two she easily fends off melee attacks from the Reverend Swamp, though she never gets a chance to make a bayonet thrust. She effectively blocks with her rifle and performs a flawless sacrifice throw. She displays amazing acrobatic skill and is able to dive for cover beyond the range of an exploding grenade. September is not a tactician; she gets herself killed in an ill advised solo attack on the coyote’s ship with a helicopter. She is woefully out gunned in this attack and certainly must realize it but in her eagerness to press the attack she pays the ultimate price. Campaign Use: September’s best use is as a sniper supporting her sisters. However her impulsive nature may prevent her from doing this effectively since she is likely to decide to rush forward ensuring she gets kills. If she does wade into combat she will fire effectively with her rifle at ranged targets and bayonet those she manages to close with. September is not really a stealth warrior. Her appearance and maid’s outfit make her look innocent enough but the big honking rifle and bayonet dispel that illusion quickly. Appearance: She appears to be a young woman in her late teens or early twenties. She has brown hair which she wears straight cut with bangs. Her eyes are a bright blue. She is not the tallest of the sisters but is about 5’5” tall with a heavy weight owing to her android body. Her maid’s costume is one of the most traditional looking. It is a conservative white and black with red trimmings and bows. She wears white stockings and black shoes. Her small white hat is held in place with a thin black ribbon. -------------------- Next will be the triplets: October, November and December. Cute little girls with teddy bear backpacks and submachine guns. If anyone can come up with a better sounding quote for September please suggest it. I think the current one is just sort of blah.

  8. Re: What Fantasy/Sci-Fi book have you just finished? Please rate it... I just finished reading Summer Knight by Jim Butcher. The fourth novel in the Dresden Files. Thus far I have enjoyed the novels and have already acquired books five and six. I had heard about them before the SciFi series but that TV show is what finally spurred me to start reading the novels. As is usually the case the books are better than the TV (but the series was good too). Now I am part way through the Esienhorn Onmibus by Dan Abnett. It is a trilogy following the career of an Imperial Inquisitor in the Warhammer 40K setting. It is a really well written piece of fiction.

She is one of Marciano’s Twelve Sisters and a combat android that was probably built by Dr. Neilson. Her true age and previous history are never revealed. She and all of the sisters have been around long enough to have gained a reputation as deadly assassins. Being a cyborg Marciano will never have children. Part of her bitterness is due to this. August and all of her sisters are the daughters that Marciano could never have so in addition to being her own personal hit squad they act has her servants and children. Personality/Motivation: August is a cute little girl... to a point. She has a very child-like personality. She pouts when things go wrong and she giggles when she tosses her grenades. She paints angel wings and hearts on her grenades and seems to enjoy the game of lobbing them at things. Her artwork isn’t bad. Even her movement is cute and child-like. As someone once said when she runs she jiggles like jelly in an earthquake. There is a dark side to this innocent girl though. She enjoys blowing things up. She smiles as she throws grenades and seems delighted by the destruction that she causes. It is she that first suggests leveling the buildings on a city block in order to flush out the sisters' quarry. She does this because blowing up the buildings will be fun. She gives no regard to the fact that many innocents are likely to be killed. Quote: “I definitely like hide and seek better than tag!” Powers/Tactics: Her weapons are hand grenades. She uses stick grenades very reminiscent of the potato-mashers that Germany used during World War II. Her grenades appear to be smaller since she too is small. She makes up for their size with the volume that she can lob. She often tosses up to six at once, three per hand! The reason that she wobbles so much when she runs is because she is short and she is carrying an arsenal concealed within her costume. She seems to have dozens of grenades. Somehow she is able to prime them as she draws them, likely this is due to some sort of special storage method that her uniform has built in. August’s short legs cause her to be slow and it is common to see June carrying her in order to increase her mobility. June carries her piggy-back as August gleefully flings grenades at anything she wants to blow-up. The only weapon that we ever see August use is her grenades. Area of Effect attacks make-up for a lot of her mobility problems. She is not subtle, grenade lobbers generally aren’t. Her grenades seem to be common fragmentation types. Campaign Use: August can be humorous. She is cute and looks like a child so unless she is recognized she may take opponents at unawares. Oddly this child is the artillery support of the sisters. Her grenades are very effective at breaking up groups of targets. It the team needs something destroyed in a hurry her grenades are probably the best bet. If needed it wouldn’t be much of a stretch for the game master to give her some additional types of grenades to supplement her normal fragmentation-only load. Smoke, gas, stun, flash, etc. are but a small list of the possibilities. Any grenades that she uses should sport appropriate artwork. Appearance: August is 3rd Generation. She has a pre-teen appearance, possibly as young as eight. Her maid’s outfit looks like a child’s costume and it essentially is. She has a black full dress with lots of white frill. She wears a large floppy top-hat with a red and white hat band. She has a red bow tie and red ribbons in her hair. She stands no more than four feet tall. She has large green eyes and long blond hair in braded in ponytails. Her small stick grenades have been decorated with artwork fitting the toys of a young girl. ----------------------------- September will be next, the girl with the M14 rifle. Once I get done with the whole group I will go back and make some minor adjustments on most of them. As I complete the sisters I get a better idea about how they ought to compare with each other. I might do a write-up of Madame Marciano herself just for completeness sake.

    Write-up

Re: Write-up I'm working on it. Seven of the 12 sisters are done and since Oct-Nov-Dec are triplets I am that much closer.
  12. Re: Is it worth it to make stuff on your free time without even playing them? I have been doing so, recently in fact. Partially I do so because it can be fun. And Partially I do it because I have a (probably forlorn) hope that I will get to use the characters some day.

July and all of her sisters are the daughters that Marciano could never have so in addition to being her own personal hit squad they act has her servants and children. Personality/Motivation: July is much like June in that she is doesn’t talk too much. But this may simply be because she plays one of the smallest parts in the anime. She seems to enjoy her work the same as all of her sisters, in fact she may be a little competitive with them. We have very little to play with as far as July’s motivations and personality. She is usually only in the background and she only rarely has a speaking part. July always has an innocent little smile on her face, even when she is chopping you up. Quote: “Okay, I’m gonna go get‘em first!” Powers/Tactics: She effectively attacks with a katana in episode one and she does so with blinding speed. A guard has his gun out and tells her to raise her hands; she draws her sword and kills him before he can react. This is the only Time we really see her in action with personal weapons. She is shown on numerous occasions carrying the katana and it seems to be her only weapon. It can be assumed that she is highly skilled with it. She is a good space fighter pilot. It seems all of the sisters are. It is claimed by some that she is the strongest of all the sisters and if this is the case she might be the most dangerous. Her added STR also means that she can leap further than the other sisters. Campaign Use: July is a hand to hand combatant. Her dexterity and speed make her deadly in this role. She is very stealthy and only June can compete with her in this respect. She has no ranged attack, it is not her style, though if given a ranged weapon it is likely she would be good with it. July excels at closing with her enemies and slicing them to pieces while smiling the whole time. Her sword can be drawn and put into action almost instantly, so she has a good chance of catching even wary opponents by surprise. Appearance: July is a 1st generation model. She has dark brown hair but her eye color is never revealed, she always has a slit-eyed smile on her face. Her maids outfit is armless with past-the-elbow, fingerless black gloves. Her skirt has a long slit in it. Her overall costume seems to have some Oriental influence to it. Doubtless her costume is made to give her maximum freedom of movement for her martial arts. She stands about 5’6” tall and is heavy due to the android body. ---------------------------- Next up will be August, the cute little girl with the stick grenades.
  14. Re: Jokes Why parents drink The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees had phoned in sick one day. Having an urgent problem with one of the main computers, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. "Hello?" "Is your daddy home?" he asked. "Yes," whispered the small voice. "May I talk with him?" The child whispered, "No." Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, "Is your Mommy there?" "Yes." "May I talk with her?" Again the small voice whispered, "No." Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, "Is anybody else there?" "Yes," whispered the child, "a policeman." Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, "May I speak with the policeman?" "No, he's busy", whispered the child. "Busy doing what?" "Talking to Daddy and Mommy and theFireman," came the whispered answer. Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the earpiece on the phone, the boss asked, "What is that noise?" "A helicopter," answered the whispering voice. "What is going on there?" demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive. Again, whispering, the child answered, "The search team just landed a helicopter." Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, "What are they searching for?" Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle... "Me."

June and all of her sisters are the daughters that Marciano could never have so in addition to being her own personal hit squad they act has her servants and children. Personality/Motivation: June is one of the quiet sisters she rarely speaks and seems content to act with the group. She is one of the most caring of the sisters. She is seen carrying the short-legged and slow August. She tends to the triplets by using one of her knives to open canned peaches for them. When April is fretting over the fate of May it is June who offers soothing words. June is still a killer. She has no problem with killing her opponents and is angered when, in episode two, she is fooled into ambushing an empty elevator. She slays a rat with a thrown knife, in part, to vent her fury. Quote: Rarely speaks Powers/Tactics: June is a knife fighting specialist. She has a collection of throwing knives secreted away within her costume and she is very accurate with them throughout her limited range. She is also very dangerous in hand to hand combat during which she wields a Rambo-style combat knife in each hand. She is never shown throwing more than a single knife at one time but it is safe to assume that she could if she wished to. June rarely talks and also seems to be pretty stealthy. In the midst of the raging firefight at Sandvil prison she is seen to pounce upon distracted guards and stab them to death. She seems to prefer to engage in hand to hand combat and uses her throwing knives when the range is too great to allow her to close to melee. She is strong but not superhumanly so. In one of the last episodes she engages Katana in hand to hand combat. While she clearly has the upper hand he is able to hold off her attack by blocking her knives with his rifle by making an utmost effort. Her spooky appearance probably grants her a high Presence score but her soliloquies are somewhat lacking. Campaign Use: June is probably best used in stealthy raids. Ideally she is the one to quietly take out sentries when the group wishes to covertly enter a secured area. From a distance she is hard to distinguish from a young man and so she is probably pretty good for surveillance work. In the middle of raging fire fights June is adept at getting lost in the confusion and giving her team that unexpected boost with a stealthy attack. She has also been seen to carry the slower August to allow for more flexible use of her grenades. Appearance: At first glance June is creepy looking. She actually looks like a serial killer. She has short black hair, pale skin and violet eyes. She is the tallest of the sisters but is also very trim with the most boyish figure. My guess is about 5’8”. From a distance she would probably be mistaken for a young man. Her maid’s uniform is actually a butler’s suit; a white blouse with a black string tie, black pants and jacket trimmed with red piping. ----------------------------------- Next will be July, the beautiful Katana-wielding girl who always has a little smile. I will also have to do a final clean-up of all the characters once I complete them since I have omitted Absolute Time Sense from some and made a few other omissions.

May and all of her sisters are the daughters that Marciano could never have so in addition to being her own personal hit squad they act has her servants and children. Personality/Motivation: May is a punk rocker girl. She has tom-boyish aspect as well. She talks like a street punk and is often sarcastic. Like most of the sisters she seems to have no qualms about killing anyone in her way and even casually offs a few people at the Sandvil prison when they are unable to answer her questions. May is spoiling for a fight and eager for combat. However she, and I suspect, all of the sisters have a sane side. May is captured and held by Angelica and Chelsea for a while and develops a like for them. She even goes so far as to aid their escape when the tables are turned. It is likely that the sisters are killing machines due to their environment. When they get to know people they can change their nature. Of course it could be that May is simply a rebel. Quote: “Who am I looking for? Well it certainly isn’t your sorry ass.” Boom! Powers/Tactics: All of information we have for May’s preferred tactics come from the first episode since she spends the rest of the series as a captive or being repaired. May uses a Franchi SPAS-12 Shotgun with standard buckshot. This makes her deadly at close range. However she seems just as happy to cast aside the shotgun if she has a good opportunity to attack a foe bare handed. This indicates that she likes melee and is probably just as dangerous in hand to hand combat. May is brash. Stealth does not seem to be her forte. She is loud and blatant and her choice of a shotgun fits this style. She is likely to kick down a door before she determines if it is unlocked just because she enjoys raising hell. In many ways her attitude seems similar to January’s. However whereas January gets mad and impulsive, May just enjoys fighting. May is never shown piloting a space fighter but since all of the sisters seem to have that skill we can assume that she is a capable pilot. Since we are shown much conversation between May and her captors is it clear that she is clever and observant. Campaign Use: May is definitely an assault specialist. She will be one of the sisters who will run right into the thick of things to spread carnage with her shotgun and her bare hands. She also seems to enjoy making comments about just how she sees things as she acts. “Here bucko have some of this.” May is not a berserker and so will not destroy a plan through impetuous action. She will however chaff to get the action started having an “action not talk” philosophy. When in doubt use more firepower. Appearance: May is a 1st Generation model. She has spiky white hair and green eyes. She stands about 5’6” tall and, due to being an android, weights close to 400 lb. Her strength and dexterity allow her to seem as light on her feet as a normal human. The maid’s uniform that May wears is the least conservative of the sisters. Punk rock influences are evident: A collar, bare arms, most revealing skirt, etc. ---------------------------------- Next up is June, the female knife-fighter who wears a butler's uniform.

April and all of her sisters are the daughters that Marciano could never have so in addition to being her own personal hit squad they act has her servants and children. Personality/Motivation: April has a pretty cold personality. Most, but not all of the time, she seems angry about something. She is ruthless and has an ends justify the means attitude. She is totally loyal to Madame Marciano. She is the most mature acting member of the team which may be partially due to the amount of extra responsibility she shoulders. Her personality towards her opponents can often be vindictive and cruel. She does have feelings for her sisters, she seems to display grief over the destruction of September and concern for the missing May. Quote: “If you’d like I can shoot him again. May I mother?” Powers/Tactics: April's only weapon is a golden Luger pistol. From flashbacks we can see that this used to be Madame Marciano’s personal weapon. Since the weapon’s golden plating indicate it is a custom weapon it is likely that it is a master crafted weapon. Still it is only a pistol so this would seem to limit April’s combat potential. April is one of the 1st Generation androids (those with mature bodies) so it is likely that she is strong and a good hand to hand combatant. Her defenses are probably among the best of sisters as well. In one episode she and January are caught in a cannon blast, April suffers the least damage despite being as close or closer to the center of the blast. April has a commanding presence and is the field commander of the 12 sisters. She thinks when on the battlefield and is tactically adept. She will direct the battle but will not hesitate to add to the team’s firepower as much as her pistol will allow. If your characters ever face the sisters and dialog enters into the encounter then April will be the one who does the talking for the twelve. Campaign Use: April is the team’s field commander. She is often in direct contact with Madame Marciano and keeps here abreast of the situation. April also seems to do the planning for the team. We never see the sisters make more than the most rudimentary plans ahead of a battle and it seems that most decisions are made by April on the spot. She is a capable commander and the GM should assume that she will not make stupid decisions. Appearance: April looks to be about twenty years of age. She has black hair and reddish-brown eyes. She has a tendency to look straight ahead with cold eyes. Her maid’s outfit is mostly black with some maroon hair ribbons and white lace. It is the maid-like costume as if April cares the least about individual style. April would probably be more attractive if she wasn’t so serious all of the time. -------------------------- Next up is May: The shotgun-toting punk rocker gal.
  25. Re: Weekend Warriors -- Campaign Log I have been running games pretty much non-stop for about the last year since our other GM had his work schedule implode on him. I need a break from GM duties for a while since I would like to play for a change. One of our newer players is about to start running a Star Hero game for a while (several months). When I do get back to running a game I intend for it to be the restart of the Weekend Warriors campaign. That will not happen for at least three months and probably closer to six months. I love the game and love to run it. I just want to take a break for a while and play. I don't want to have to occupy my free time with trying to setup the next game. The Weekend Warriors will return, it'll just be a while.
