  10. Re: Top 5 Favorite 5E Supplements 1. CKC 2. USPDs 3. Villainy Amok 4. Ultimate Skill 5. Bestiary Honorable mention goes to Sidekick.
  11. Re: Announcing Kazei 5, Second Edition You can do that at any time. I'll even smile.
  12. Re: Kazei 5 Update The art (and probably also the final editing pass) will not be finished in time for GenCon, so the sample pages shown there will still have gaps for missing art, and such. Once the final art and editing are ready to go, the PDF will go up for sale while the book is sent off to the printer (and we'll start taking preorders for the printed book at the same time).

  14. Re: "Neat" Pictures Those crop circle aliens are getting artistic on us.
  15. Re: Unknown Dark Material on Mercury That's the dark side of the Force. Darth Vader asked me to keep it there for him.
  16. Re: Absolute Range Sense... ever use it? It comes up once in a while in play. Recently, some players used it while in a large Darkness field to fly a certain distance forward before turning down a hallway that their sense told them was there. A little further back, some players needed to get directly underneath a subway platform by traversing the winding tunnels.
  17. Re: Gear Krieg cut-out walkers for the cheap, (but fiendish), GM I just saw this book reviewed in a magazine yesterday: Sounds pretty cool.

  20. Foxbat on the 4th of July Foxbat is offering his new book for $4.00 off on the 4th of July. "On this most important of dates in American history, it's a perfect time to reflect on the things that made this country great," says the presidential candidate. "A sense of adventure, cash in hand, and me: your friendly neighborhood Foxbat! So declare your independence from paying full retail price by saving $4 on the 4th, and buying this preemptive memoir and Champions adventure." The 100-page adventure is available from BlackWyrm Games. "I'm Foxbat, and I approve this message."
  21. Re: Jokes Q: Where would you find such a dog? A: Exactly where you left him.
  22. Re: Foxbat for President BlackWyrm had a successful convention at Origins Game Fair in Columbus, OH. "Our newest gaming product was the Champions adventure Foxbat for President, and we sold around half of what we brought," says company leader Dave Mattingly. "And having the author on hand to sign copies was an added pleasure." Game sessions from the book were run as demos, with players either taking on the roles of the Champions or of Foxbat's "amazing friends" to fight against opponents such as professional assassins, strange undead, and sorcerous cultists. Jason Walters says, "Foxbat has a grand appeal in the Champions Universe, and is well-loved by fans. Even though his genre niche is, of course, being not at all loved by the superheroes." The author, Michael Satran tells us that, "This is my first publication, and I'm totally excited by it." Michael's infectious enthusiasm is evident in the Foxbat podcast interview. The BlackWyrm booth promoted the book with giveaways such as campaign buttons, brochures extolling the many virtues of Foxbat, and a drawing in which "voters" put their names on a "ballot" and threw them into Foxbat's Uncle Sam hat.
