I couldn’t make out the words, but I knew that it was full of sadness, hope and wonder, and a terrible sense of loss. I looked at Londo, and this is the amazing part, there was a tear running down his face. I said, ‘Londo, we should leave. I mean, this is upsetting you.’ He just stood there. And when it was over, he turned to me and he said, ‘There are forty-nine gods in our pantheon, Vir. To tell you the truth, I never believed in any of them. But if only one of them exists, then god sings with that voice.’ It’s funny. After everything we have been through, all he did, I miss him.”

Never made mac and cheese...ever.  Might have had it served at home back in the day;  I don't recall.  If so, it wasn't common.  
 
What I worked on instead was scalloped potatoes...eventually completely from scratch.  Christmas Eve version had diced bacon and onions, sauteed, along with a cream sauce.  THAT took time...the prep took about an hour.  Cheese sauces are very time-consuming.  THen IIRC it was 90 minutes or so in the oven.  WAY more work that I was willing to do most of the time.

UC plays at Notre Dame this weekend - huge chance for group of five team to make a mark on the national stage.

There's been a lot of sturm und drang online about the new Babylon 5 series being "too woke" because it's on CW. In response, someone pointed out that the original series was essentially the story of an interracial couple fighting fascists in space.

Today on social media, Claudia Christian said she had been asked how much she knows about the upcoming Babylon 5 reboot. This was her response:
 
"Only Joe knows that for now, so you should go bug him about it.  He won't tell you, but the results should be amusing."

I am routing hard right now for the Orioles (this will probably change over the weekend), Blue Jays and Mariners. This is because I would love to see MLB suffer through another season of the Yankees and Boston NOT in the playoffs.

Lady P has an acquaintance who is a chiropractor. He's been telling people that with regular adjustments and certain supplements (which he may or may not sell at his practice, I honestly don't know), the human immune response can easily handle COVID-19. Ergo, it's not necessary to get vaccinated.
