And now the general public can file past the coffin and pay their respects. I did that for the Queen Mother in 2002. I'm over 200 miles away and my mother has not been well., coming down with a water infection on Wednesday. She is taking things slowly but I need to be close by. Had I still been in London I may well have gone to pay my respects. In other news King Charles and Prince William have been to see the crowds queuing to see the Queen lying in State.
