Susano
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Larry Niven's Discworld Niven wrote on essay about giant space objects and included the idea of a disc world. It was a giant record/CD that filled a solar system with the sun sitting where the hole in the record/CD is. To get night and day you bob the sun (at this tech level, you can do this.) Niven thought it would be a great gothic setting with the sun eternally setting.

FenrisUlf
Re: Genre-crossover nightmares Not really a crossover, but: Son of Wolfman: The Heir of the Dog that Bit You Urrrgh! I had to +Rep this! The Kzinti Postman always rings twice OR Does he just leap and scream at the door? This makes me wonder if Kzinti postmen would lead to a revival of that old Irish custom of putting out a bowl of cream and/or milk for the local cats/Little People. Though in this case, it'd be for the Big Cat People. Hmm, now I wonder, would there be Kzinti Catgirls?
