It will often become true. *Never* assume that the villains *are* a friendly foe, happy to amuse you. It is not always true. (Because, lets be honest, the stakes are always suddenly lower for "comedic" storylines, despite how powerful and serious the same villain and same macguffin are in a "serious" storyline.)
