The birth rate is (very) slightly tilted towards women, religious men are more likely to become secular than religious men, and secular women are more likely to be religious than secular men. Once you pass the age of 25 the ratio of orthodox women looking for husbands compared to orthodox men looking for wives is 3-1. For a man, its a bull market, for women its a bear market. This is not an argument in favor of altering Israeli law, nor do I desire to have another wife (I'm happy with the current one), but it is an observation and a problem duly noted. My comic book collection was in storage for years, and a couple boxes got flooded. Most survived in decent shape as they were in plastic. A bit smelly, but nothing horrible. There were casualties, though. V for Vendetta, Watchmen and Miracle Man all ruined. Also, a handful of quarter box crap and my original OHOTMUs. Worse, I collect Coca Cola glass, and I lost one piece: my very first one, the one that started my whole collection. That one hurt. Oh well, moving on...
