It seems like I'm always out of space to shelve all my books. lemming Posted December 24, 2005 Report Share Posted December 24, 2005 Blek Our cat Daisy crossed Wednesday morning. She caught URI and her system already weakened by her heart murmor and kidneys couldn't deal with it. Her kidneys shut down Tuesday night. There wasn't much we could do for her, but end her pain. We still have three cats in our studio, but it feels very empty. In the last six months, Daisy had found she liked swimming in our slow draining shower and drinking some of the warm water left on top of the shampoo bottles. (Once we realized she did this, we started rinsing everything) After collecting enough water she'd come jump into our bed, flicking her feet because they were wet. He was a remarkable man who assisted in Byrd's attempt to overfly Antartica. He took part in an Olympics and past 70 competed in dog sled expeditions. He also has a mountain named after him.
