C-Note got a reaction from Sorloc in Potions
FH 5th p281 describes what is required to create potions.

5th Edition Revised has an example potion with the requirements built in to the potion as limitations:

Potion Of Giant Strength: +30 STR, Trigger (quaff potion; +1⁄4) (37 Active Points); OAF Fragile Expendable (easily spilled or diluted liquid, brewed from giant’s blood and other components which are Difficult to acquire; -1 1⁄2), 4 Continuing Charges lasting 1 Minute each (-1⁄4), Concentration (creator has 0 DCV while brewing potion; -1⁄2), Extra Time (takes minimum of 1 Hour to brew potion; -3), Gestures (must make arcane gestures while brewing potion; -1⁄4), Incantations (must incant magical formulae while brewing potion; -1⁄4), Requires An Alchemy Roll (-1⁄2). Total cost: 5 points.

Thank you for these!  I'm running a FH campaign in the Hyborian Kingdoms, so I would love to see conversions for the Conan and Red Sonja modules.

I have done a few module conversions on my website from AD&D (and Warhammer Quest) into Fantasy Hero.  They are kind of rough but playable quick converts.  I have done the following:

N1: Against the Cult of the Reptile God
    N2: The Forest Oracle
    N4: Treasure Hunt
U1: The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh
    U2: Danger at Dunwater
    U3: The Final Enemy
G1: Steading of the Hill Giant Chief
G2: Glacial Rift of the Frost Giant Jarl
    B2: Keep on the Borderland
    I3: Pharaoh
A1: Slave Pits of the Undercity

I have work started on A2, I4, and G3, to continue and finish those series, but are there any other modules people would really like to see?  Hint: I don't care to rebuild any of the S series.

In my Fantasy Hero campaign, winged mounts are common, as are skyships.  Most major cities require the mounts to be stabled outside the city. The skyships are also required to berth outside the cities.  Within the cities, thin steel wires are strung from the tops of the tallest buildings. This is to deter any aerial attacks.  Ballistae and crews are positioned throughout the cities as "anti-aircraft" defenses.  So far, the players haven't tried anything stupid...so far.

I wouldn't mess with point costs.  Instead I would pre-design a lot of the ships and just limit what the players can take.  Just because the game system would let someone buy something, that doesn't mean it's appropriate in the campaign setting.  For example, you can't normally be a starship commander in a D&D game.

Point costs aren't about how "realistic" something is.  It's about how useful it is in the game.  FTL speeds get very high for a tiny increase in points.  That's not realistic at all.  But remember, in the game, there's not much difference between 20 points of FTL travel and 50 points of it.  In both cases, you're traveling to a fictional location that is as far away as the gamemaster wants it to be, and it takes as long to get there as the gamemaster says.  It's a "scene change" power.  The GM says "Okay, you're traveling to the Andaarian Nebula.  You've been going there for the last 4 days.  You still have 2 more days to get there.  On the way, your trip is interrupted by this thing happening."  It doesn't matter if it's the Andaarian Nebula, or some other place he made up.  It doesn't matter if you've been traveling for 4 days, or 4 weeks, or 4 hours.  You've entered into the realm of GM narration.

It's perfectly fine to say that your big battleships can only go at X speed, while smaller interceptors can go faster.  If you want your game universe to work that way, that's fine.  But don't bother with changing the point costs.  It will give a false illusion that you've balanced it somehow, when in fact you haven't.

This is a genre simulation problem, and such problems are often more easily fixed with design conceit than by changing the rules (in other words... just change how you use the mechanics, not the mechanics themselves. Remember that you have final say on anything players might want to build, and a responsibility to audit such material to ensure it is appropriate to your campaign. No amount of rules-text can prevent abuse and user error.

Sure... 15m of Flight has the same cost regardless of user size... except that a vehicle has already paid for its Size as a characteristic, making it pay an added fee based on size for movement powers is double-dipping and contrary to system principles. Given two otherwise identical vehicles the larger (or faster) one should be the more expensive one, and amongst two "equal vehicles" one migut be larger and slower than the other (as points spent on Size don't improve Flight).

As for the reason why one ship may buy more less movement than another, there is only one reason that actually matters. Because you said so (and/or because that is what is appropriate to the campaign). If you need your Carriers to be slower than your Fighters, simply don't let the Carrier buy more flight than you let Fighters have.

Then the plague of living death spread around the globe. Billions died, civilization fell, and the city of angels was left a desolate zombie wasteland.

Now, a year later, the Mighty Dragon and his companions protect a last few thousand survivors in their film-studio-turned-fortress, the Mount. Scarred and traumatized by the horrors they’ve endured, the heroes fight the armies of ravenous ex-humans at their citadel’s gates, lead teams out to scavenge for supplies—and struggle to be the symbols of strength and hope the survivors so desperately need.

But the hungry ex-humans aren’t the only threats the heroes face. Former allies, their powers and psyches hideously twisted, lurk in the city’s ruins. And just a few miles away, another group is slowly amassing power . . . led by an enemy with the most terrifying ability of all."

This project is an extension of an export template I wrote a few months ago.  I had so much fun writing that template that I decided to develop a full app.

    Features
Import characters from Hero Designer using this export template Characteristics and Skills may be long pressed and a check will be made Dice rolling tools (3d6, Hit, Damage, and Free Form)  The H.E.R.O. tool generates random 250 point 5e supers (shout out to Cassandra for allowing me to use her original idea) Track statistics about your die rolls, including average values, distribution, total stun etc.
This is still very much a work in progress and I have plans to add more features as time goes on.  For now though I feel that it’s mature enough to release to the general public.
