Re: Champions Characters DEX Inflation Why? I'm with you,Trebuchet.While it's true that many superhero concepts don't SEEM to require heightened DEX and SPD,that may not be neccessairily true. A brick from a high-G world,for example,should have heightened DEX and SPD (as well as STR),as things fall much faster under high gravity.

I'm with Michael Hopcroft-Anime Champions makes a better title for a game line than a book title.Some possible worldbookswould be: Magical Girl Hero: Everything you want to know about young girls with magical powers who beat up evil monsters. Ranma Hero: Being a Ranma 1/2 fan myself, I'd love to see an official Hero Games sourcebook about the Ranmaverse! Alas,it probably won't happen......

I've only seen a few videos of the original Bubblegum Crisis and haven't watched any of the DVDs of the Bubblegum Crisis 2040 series.My cynical self tells me that if it's much easier to find the remake of a series than the original than it's because the new series is greatly inferior to the original.

Re: The Thing in Hero Terms I wish somebody would do a writeup for the creature in It! The Terror From Beyond Space. And I've always thought the was a connection between the two species of alien monsters,as acid blood would be a great defense against a space vampire.Perhaps the creatures in the Alien movies were intended as a countermeasure against It!,but proved to be uncontrollable. And in the original story the Thing had Persistent telepathic abilities,as it was sending thoughts to Blair while it was still trapped in the ice.

Re: New Power: Invulnerability Actually,I've been thinking about the possibility of 100% Resistant Damage Reduction.Given the fact that the Active Cost of Damage Reduction doubles each level,100% Resistant Damage Reduction should cost 120 points. Since the Invulnerability Power is 100% Resistant Damage Reduction that only applies to BODY damage,I'd buy Invulnerability as follows: Invulnerability: 100% Resistant Damage Reduction,Only Vs. BODY damage(-2) (120 Active points.,40 Real points).
