Re: Ring Ring go away.... You can do MPAs with normal Multi Powers, as long as you have enough reserve for both attacks to be active at the same time though, so it's not too damaging really...

Too lazy to read the whole thread before making this point so I hope I don't echo someone else here, but why not two different MPs, one for each hand, that way he can use one ring off each hand at the same time? That way he can have offensive powers in one set of rings with the defensive/support powers in the other. That's what I did when I made my ripof, er... homage to Mandarin.

Re: IHA Help I would go with Genocide for much the same reason as Southern Cross- the group will be named by the public based on their actions and no matter how many lofty names they call themselves, once they show up and start attacking superhumans, the press will start calling them Genocide as a descriptor of those actions. Perhaps they call themselves by some other name but still get stuck with that moniker?

Re: Re-imagining the Star Wars universe. It's actually interesting the thing about making the Jedi more like Kurosawa Samurai, since the first movie was a homage to the Hidden Fortress, was it not? Midi-Chlorians have got to go, oh and the Sith were done all wrong- make them more like Ninjas- not as outright powerful as Jedis, but creatures of stealth and guile who are impossible to pin down and defeat when thet're trying not to be found. As imagined, there is no reason for the sith to hide or limit thir numbers- if they were numerous, with their level of power they could crush the Jedis outright, so why hide?

Finishing move: Add on hand to hand attack with the following modifications- Only with "Insert Finishing Move Name Here"(-1/2), Full Phase(-1/2) and x2 End Cost(-1/2) and then you need to add some sort of cool name and description to this, plus maybe skill levels with a single attack. Mask, and maybe some sort of drain effect so that if his mask is removed he loses a good portion of his power- not really a focus so much as a psychological crutch, but you could do it either way...

Dude, he kept dying so that Roland could start the whole thing over again- the kid's frigging cursed if you ask me... PS:That was the most bullshit cop-out ending I've ever read.

Re: Caps on Characteristics for Standard Supers Mike, the perfect character type to disprove your theory is the high-end healer: you don't really care if they can fight their way out of a wet paper bag as long as they can keep putting you back together when you get messed up fighting the "Super Mutated Freak of the Week" tm.

Re: Variable Power Pools.. Again Something like this has come up in the past and an MP inside a VPP is out and out illegal. That being said, let hiim use a Multifom to represent diffrent suite with altered modules and weapons- it's a little more time consuming initially but in the end it will make the character more versatile and he can use experience to "upgrade armor" by buying another form, very in keeping with Iron Man source material, as Tony has designed many special purpose armors over the years for specific missions.

Anything that you are really adverse to seeing, besides advanced tech and gun toting psychos? Is NCM a viable disadvantage or are their inherent limits on how Characterisitics are bought? I guess those are the major questions, for now...
