  1. But...the best Christmas gift should be a cymbal of your feelings this time of year.😈
  2. Considering the season, he’d probably be dressed as the Grinch.
  3. ‘Ya know, if the world were flat, as long as there was gravity and half the world were on the bottom side you could still walk all the way around and if if it was gently curved enough at the edges you wouldn’t notice the change.
  4. I haven’t seen the movie, but I have seen every Easter Egg explanation and illegally downloaded scene on YouTube.
  5. If you know what the OED is, you’re not part of the problem.
  6. He’s running an all you can eat buffet for Wyle E.Coyote’s whole family but somehow YOU’RE the bad guy.
  7. As many times as I’ve told people to keep the scratchers and just give me the money I still get the stupid things.
  8. As much as I dislike Little Drummer Boy, my favorite Christmas song is the Bing Crosby & David Bowie duet/counterpoint of that song.
  9. I keep hearing “Baby it’s cold outside” called a rape song. That’s crap. Check out one of the classic versions, like Ray Charles & Betty Carter. **I make no defense about versions that f¥@k with the lyrics.** Yes the guy is trying to convince the girl to stay...so what? No one is being FORCED to do ANYTHING!! While the #Me Too# movement and Cancel Culture have done good and great things shining light on dark places and forcing men of power to be responsible for their actions, not every human interaction is automatically evil. Not every entreaty to stay a while is the same as slipping some girl a roofie. If you don’t like the song, fine. I myself think it’s kind of trite and outdated. But there have been a number of versions where the gender roles have been flipped and Glee did a version sung by two Gay males. Who’s the injured party there? A dangerous side effect of these movements is the infantilization and disempowerment of Women. The idea that a woman can’t just say “No thanks, I’m going home now.” unless there’s a crowd or even worse some men to pass a law or rule about it. It’s just a dumb song. Not a blacked out van and a locked basement.
  10. Now I’m blind....thanks a lot Logan.
  11. I think she just went into masquerade. A very nice lady, I got an autograph from her once. An obscenely long line at a bookstore and even after several hours she was still gracious and kind. Enjoy your new life.
  12. I just finished re-reading Peace Talks by Jim Butcher and I’m about to start Battle Ground. They’re from the Dresden Files, a modern horror series that’s run about 15 books. They’re parts one and two of a major storyline. Kind of like Infinity War & Endgame were for the MCU.
  13. ....and you die by the rock through your back window. Never discount low-tech solutions. That should be a buff-up in a Grand Theft Auto game. When you see a car with NRA or Alt-Right bumper stickers you can break in and get weapons and ammo.
  14. Aladdin....sure. That’s why I used the phrase “street rat”. But there was also some Maverick and Lando Calrissian in that description too.
  15. First and foremost....because it’s not real. Secondly the idea that all Supers are mistrusted and hated has been done several times in the past by different comic companies. It’s just not as useful in most games as having one hated group instead of all heroes.
  16. You have my sincere condolences. All I can offer you is perhaps a smile at something that kept going through my head. “What’s the difference between an Irish wedding and an Irish wake?” “One less drunk.” You partner, were at one HELL of an Irish wake. Be at peace, if you can.
  17. Those things have scripts!?! I thought they took scrabble tiles and tossed them like the I-Ching and wrote down whatever came up.
  18. It may not exactly be poetry....but I like it. And for the record Jamaica Mistacia qualifies as a reggae edda.
  19. A wonderful Game Creator and Author. To my loss I never met the gentleman, so I can only speak about his creations. Doc Sidhe is a favorite novel of mine as I loved the use and respect it showed for both Doc Savage and the other Pulp novels of the era. As to his work on supplements like Strike Force....I’ve worn out the keys on my computer praising it as the premier reference on running a long term campaign in any System for any Genre. His work will continue to be appreciated and he will be missed by those who knew and loved him for a long time to come. What better tribute could any of us ask for.
  20. It’s not “whining” if you have a real reason. We all have you in our thoughts and prayers. Hang tough when you can and lean on the ones you love when you can’t.
  21. And yet, he REALLY had to get talked into doing it. That doesn’t mean he’s not glad about it now, just that he was leery about it then. Apparently doing the Fantastic Four movies soured him on the whole genre.
