Besides, if VIPER already owns the company then my PCs have no chance to thwart an insidious VIPER scheme and that's hardly fair to them is it?

Re: New VIPER toys My VIPER nest either buys the company or steals the specs, either way they are his and eventually VIPER's when it comes time to kiss up to the higher ups. One wonders why VIPER doesn't try to buy up all companys like this one, simply to snag all thier lovely tech?

Re: What have you done with the Asesinos? Am I the only one who thinks El Muerto Obscuro should be an evil luchador rather then a ninja? I mean seriously it'd make sense wouldn't it and as somebody else mentioned he would make a good nemesis for El Espectro. Well more acurately El Hijo del Espectro since the original would probably be dead by now. Ocelote would then become an experiment created by the local mad scientist, whom also employs El Muerto Obscuro, because after all Espectro needs a monster to fight. That mad scientist would be El Asesino Medico, coming from a long line of evil Medicos that have plagued heroic luchadors from the very beginning of Lucha Libre! The latest decendent of these rogues has turned his skills of evil medicine, mad science and rudo lucha libre to the assassin profession [continuing an honorable tradition in his family.] He either has an orginization of his own, or is working for a group like VIPER.

Re: A pulp picture...the USS Manhattan That strikes me as a very cool base for your heros in a Pulp or Golden Age game then an actual military vehicle. Think about it, your heroes could launch all thier cool vehicles [well the flight capable ones anyway] from it and your gadgeteers would never be far away from thier labs. Not sure how many points that would be worth of course, but it sure would be worth it simply for the coolness factor alone.

Re: Power Rangers Also sometimes the lieutenants are very stupid, which often helps the hero win in an otherwise hopeless situation. Of course, now that I think more about it that's hardly a sentai only bit.

Re: Power Rangers Well the SuperSentai shows that inspired Power Rangers, not to mention provided footage for it on occasion, did run for something like twenty years or so and are still putting out episodes so it's hardly a surprise that Power Rangers is still going.

Still seems silly to me, a brighter idea would've been to fly off and get a blindfold that was really difficult to tear off, or one that had a reflective surface so that when Medusa tried to tear it off she'd be turned to stone cause she'd seen her own reflection. That is, of course, merely my own opinion and there was probably a very good idea why my plan wouldn't have worked in the framework of the story

Re: Your favorite PC vs.. Avalon vs Spider-Man: This is a surprisingly even fight. Ava's not nearly as experienced as Spidey but she's a pretty nimble flyer and she's really good with her energy blasts so she could possibly even get a shot in on Spidey despite his Spider Sense. Of course, since she hasn't got Spidey's endurance he'll eventually wear her down and take her out once her magical reserves wear out. Avalon vs Captain America: Again, surprisingly even as Avalon tends to fight from the air so Cap's immediatly on the defensive due to her airial bombardment. Being Cap however, he would eventually capitalize on a mistake and Ava would get clobbered.
