  1. Re: PULP HERO -- What Do *You* Want To See? That would be the Raven, whom I would definetly like to see written up in Pulp Hero and the Velvet Phantom as well. They're both cool characters as far as I'm concerned and I personally find them more interesting then I ever found the Blue Moon Killer. I would also like write-ups on The Golden Tiger, Sam Spivey, Scarlet Shadow and Jim Battle and the Science Police. Naturally Dr. Fang and his Alliance of Evil need to appear too.
  2. Re: What's the most ridiculous PC you've ever been subjected to? How about Team You Gotta Be Kidding Me?
  3. Re: Need "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" Stats With all due respect to Beetle, Herc's strength was generally depicted on the high side though I agree that it was hardly consistent. The professional wrestling package from Ultimate Martial Arts seems appropriate for him, with a few levels for combat. He seems pretty knowledgable about his family so perhaps a KS for that would be appropriate. Also, I'm thinking that some Damage Reduction would be quite appropriate for Herc as well. He can take the punches and the knocking about that usually results from his fights but it seems if you clobber him enough it will eventually take a toll. Also, those armbands he wears were made by Hephestus and are indestructible. It was mentioned in an episode.
  4. Re: Need "Hercules: The Legendary Journeys" Stats Well the strength chart in Ultimate Brick says having the strength of a hundred men is 43 STR. I figure Hercules ought to have at least that so that's where I'd put him. Just my opinion of course.
  5. Re: Here on Earth-2: your evil counterpart! Danielle: Her alternate version would be a complete savage bitch. Seeing the world as dumping on her family she's dedicated herself to returning the favour one hundred fold. She'll take what she wants and slay anybody who tries to prevent her from doing that. People who date her usually don't survive going all the way and rampaging through cities is one of her favourite pastimes. Justin: The sweet supersmart boy from the regular world, becomes a manipulative tyrant in the other world. He may not have conquered the world yet but with his intelligence he's not far off. He has a huge dose of megalomania but unlike most world conquerers he has not just super intelligence but near infinite patience to go along with it. He'd for certain have built himself up a financial empire and has probably already taken over VIPER and ARGENT. Given time he'll build himself into a Dr. Destroyer/Malachite combo. Very scary and very dangerous. Megan: The real Megan cares mostly for others and rarely acts selfishly. So her evil counterpart is a selfish slut who cares only about herself and her pleasure. She is probably a member of PSI, though she could've likely conned her brother into pulling some shenanigans to make her thier leader just for shits and giggles [Megan is a powerful weapon in Justin's arsenal after all.] Sean: He's basically a thug with lighting and magnetic powers. Static if he became a gangbanger instead of a superhero. He has control of several gangs and intends to become the head gangster in the United States of America just to show up his brother. He's really working hard to make his powers even more lethal then they already are, basically he's a heartless little sociopath.
  6. Re: Working on a combined DC/Marvel universe This thread causes me to have so many questions about your world. Like for example, how do Aquaman and Namor co-exsist? There was no mention in your time line of Atlantis invading the surface world so I assume that's because Aquaman was ruling it initially. Are he and Namor enemies? Fanboys need to know!
  7. Re: "Ya better talk Oculon, or you'll get the spike!" (A Super law question) Seems pretty straightforward to me. The villain is still alive and thus has not recieved the penalty given to him by the courts, which is death. Just because whatever they injected him with didn't kill him, doesn't mean he suddenly gets off.
  8. Re: Jack-Jack Parr Her baby is the most powerful being on the planet, possibly capable of stomping Dr. D when he gets older. I'm thinking Mrs. Incredible is just dreading the terrible twos.

    VMS-Alpha

Re: VMS-Alpha Interesting, glad to hear that VF-2 was thought of when the VIPER book was being written. They were one of my favourite teams in 4th Edition Champions. Definetly better then my idea, which was Armstrong, a couple comic clones [Deathstroke, Deadshot and Bullseye to be precise] and an evil Rambo.
  10. Re: A Modern League of Extroardinary Gentlemen Give her a chance to gain experience and skill though, and she could certainly have a role in the league down the road.In the movie, she's at the same stage Hannibal was 30 years before getting caught. Part of the fun of Suzie in the league would be figuring out where she goes from the end of the movie. I'd rather have Suzie then Hannibal. Is she as smart and manipulative as Hannibal is? No. On the other hand however she isn't likely to want to nosh on her associates. I've gotta think that would do wonders for team morale. Hannibal would be a good choice for a LXG villain however. Granted Suzie would attempt to manipulate the team to her own ends, but any LXG team worthy of the name can deal with that.

    VMS-Alpha

Out of curiousity, has anybody fleshed out the various members of VMS-Alpha, aside from Kevin Armstrong? Do you play them as really badass fire support for Armstrong or do you actually flesh out the members of the team? For that matter, how many members do you usually have on VMS-Alpha if you actually use them? How tough are they when you actually DO use them? I'm intensely curious about this, also if I ever get around to running a game VIPER would be a powerful force in it and I'd use VMS-Alpha at somepoint.
  12. Re: Nudity and Sex in comics books More of a temporary postponement, or at least that's what Marvel claims. Volume 2 is due at some point in the future.
  13. Re: Nudity and Sex in comics books D'OH!! Thought you were agreeing with Blue about the She-Hulk comic there assault. My bad for not reading more closely. Sorry for getting on your case.
  14. Re: Nudity and Sex in comics books Yes well written and fun books do sell, provided the editors give them a chance to. The latest She-Hulk series was a well written and very fun book and if they have any brains Marvel will bring it back, alongside Runaways and other books.
  15. Re: Nudity and Sex in comics books Now back to the topic: I never read the issue where She-Hulk slept with Juggernaut. But when they restarted the She-Hulk series, she was kicked out of the Avengers Mansion because she'd become a serious Party Girl, throwing bashes that the other members didn't appreciate. She seemed to be sleeping around in her She-hulk form before that series started. Glad they put an end to that in the short-lived series. Yes because we wouldn't want a well written and funny comicbook on the market now would we? Can't let that happen at all, SUCH a good thing it was cancelled.
  16. Re: The Power Brigade Interview Form Thank you for your interest in the Power Brigade Super Hero team, please fill out this form to the best of your ability. Should you require special equipment (Heat proof pencils, etc) in order to complete this form, it will be provided. The Power Brigade does not share this information with any other civilian source, but maybe required to share it with certain govt ones (at risk of losing our tax exempt status). Please be as honest as you can. Super Hero Name: Prodigy (Optional)Secret Idenity/Alternate Name: (Optional)Ethnic Group/Species: Human Place of Birth: Provincetown, Massachusetts Date of Birth: November 7th, 1990 Question 1. How did you hear about the Power Brigade team? Read about it on the internet, seemed like an interesting way to use my abilities to aid my fellow man. Question 2. What do you feel you can offer (Both in Super heroic powers/gifts and your knowledges) to the Power Brigade team? Well I'm superhumanly intelligent for starters. My IQ isn't memorable by conventional standards but is belived to be in the four or five digit range. In addition to that I have a complete photographic memory and phenomonal deductive abilities. My agility is also several times the human norm and all my senses are enhanced to an incredible degree. In addition to that I'm trained in jujutsu, am a capable gadgeteer and can speak many languages. Question 3. Why do you wish to join our team, and what do you hope for if you join? Too aid my fellow man, for the most part. Also, I seem to have gotten into some trouble with VIPER and ARGENT and would dearly love to help shut them down. Question 4. Have you ever been on a super hero team before? If so, which one(s) and why are you no longer a member? Teamed with a few heroes here and there but was never a member of a team. Question 5. Are you a supervillain, govt agent, law enforcement official, media person, or anyone else who is attempting to infilitrate the Power Brigade? No to all of the above. Question 6. How often will you be availible to fight crime and save the world? What schedule would be best for you? I am ready to fight whenever I am needed, just call me when you need me. Question 7: Do you have some disability, ailment, or other situation (Occasional Demonic possession, intense allergy to space rocks, etc) that our scientists, doctors, and mystics should take into account? Ummm, would being slightly underage qualify as other situation? Question 8. To what degree do you comply with the law? Are you registered? I'd say about 75% or so. I'm not registered. Question 9. Will you be able to provide your own transporation to and from the Power Brigade HQ? Yes. Question 10. What are your feelings on death and property damage? Property damage is occasionally an unavoidable side effect of superhero battles. That said I try to avoid it as much as possible. I never use lethal force if I can avoid it. Question 11. Are you willing to wear our team Logo? Yes. Question 12. How may we contact you should we be interested in having you join? (Phone, mystic mirror, large signal, etc) Cell phone. Please include any additional notes about yourself you feel are relevant below: Ummm, I'm currently only fifteen years old, though my intelligence and knowledge far outstrip those of many of my elders. Thank you for your interest in the Power Brigade. All aplications will be reviewed, if no response in 4-6 weeks, it is likely the team is currently filled.
  17. Re: Lucha Character: Assistance Needed. I'd like to hear them if you don't mind.
  18. I'm planning on creating a Lucha Libre character for a game I'm in. His name is El Tigre De Oro. The thing is, I'm not exactly sure how best to represent the Lucha Libre style in Champions. Can somebody help me out? El Tigre De Oro btw, is a El Santo homage.
  19. Re: William Dixon, Golden Age scientist The scroll bar stops at what appears to be the bottom portion of the character's history and will scroll no higher then that.
  20. Re: William Dixon, Golden Age scientist You do realise there are no stats for the character and it seems only a portion of his history was displayed? Or did you do that on purpose?

    Rifts HERO

Re: Rifts HERO Then you have Coalition Wars which basically throws out anything and everything in the previous books about the Coalition being untested in true warfare, possessing no knowledge of magic and or psionics and any other piece of information that would actually hinder thier stated goal of having the Coalition win. It pretty much contradicts everything printed in previous books and at one point, it even contradicts information from a previous book in the series. The final book is an example of the worst gaming supplement known to man IMOHO.
  22. Re: Hiya QUARK-dude... Would "Shoot her with the autocannon" be too obvious? Or is there some reason you can't do that?
  23. Re: Fake TV-Shows Gargoyles had the Pack, of course that just lasted one episode but I belive it still qualifies. I'm pretty sure Super Moose from Jackie Chan Adventures had his own cartoon show but that was most likely animated, still she could do voice acting on it. That's all I got.
  24. Re: WWYCD: Six Million Thugs Swear. A lot. While dodging lazer beams and diving for cover far more then he cares too. He hates it when situations are beyond his control like this. Chances are whatever gadgets he has on him aren't capable of taking out the cyber thugs quickly and they're likely beyond even his butt kicking skills. His only recourse is to fall back and call in back up. Avalon on the other hand would fly up to the maximum range for her EB then open fire, spreading the beam in order to get a better chance of hitting them. She'd trust in her forcefield to keep her safe. If she can't blast them to pieces that way, well actually she'd probably call in backup no matter what she did.
