Limited Power, "Expires after [duration]." Use your judgement to set the value of the Limitation.

IndianaJoe3 reacted to Brian Stanfield in Cheek Pouches?
This sounds like a good idea. If you look at The Ultimate Base you can design a small, highly limited base in your cheeks.
You could also also created a pocket dimension with Extra Dimensional Movement and Stretching (think: bag of holding), with many limitations related to its size, the small mouth opening, and detectable in “this” dimension (big fat cheeks).

Extra Limb, Inherent, No Fine Manipulation, Limited Power (Limited Carrying Capacity, -1)
Adjust the value of Limited Carrying Capacity as you see fit.

IndianaJoe3 got a reaction from novi in Philosophy of Complications: Code vs Killing
Some cops have a CvK - they go out of their way, putting themselves at risk, to avoid killing suspects. Other cops don't, but that only means they're willing to use deadly force when warranted (or the player doesn't want the issue to come up). Some cops have, "Judge, Jury, and Executioner" (and probably some other odious Psych Comps as well).

IndianaJoe3 got a reaction from Duke Bushido in Critical Hits in the Hero System
I don't like systems that give too much importance to critical hits. That said, letting players reroll a poor damage roll on a, "crit" does add fun to the game.

It's only a, "fishing expedition" if they run out of evidence and keep looking. The Benghazi hearings were clearly one (well, after the first, anyway). The Kavanaugh investigation barely got started and wasn't allowed to continue. It's not a fishing expedition, it's part of the coverup.

IndianaJoe3 reacted to Lucius in Limitations 2: The singling.
Perhaps the rules should make it clearer that it's okay to adjust the given values, and give more guidance about doing so. The fact that some Advantages have a kind of "surcharge" in some combinations or contexts (Autofire and Area Effect for example) is a step in this direction.

you'd have to purchase Life Support first, and quickly

IndianaJoe3 got a reaction from Doc Democracy in Fighting Styles Based on Location
There's nothing in the rules that prevents you from buying a few CSLs/PSLs and calling it a martial art. It's even suggested as an option in the martial arts sourcebooks. It can even be cheaper, since you aren't bound by the 10-point minimum cost of a martial art.

IndianaJoe3 got a reaction from archer in Limitations: There should be only one!
I think this is a bad idea because it hides the complexity of Limitations. "Laser Pistol (-2)" sounds simpler than, "OAF (-1), 6 Charges (-3/4), Beam (-1/4)," but it doesn't tell you what the restrictions actually are. Players might also want similar powers with different Limitations, and then the GM has to keep track of, "Tom's Laser Pistol (-1)," "Dick's Laser Pistol (-2)," and "Harry's Laser Pistol (which is different from Tom's) (-1)."
