  2. Re: Useless Hero Facts If we let Stretching replace XDM we are all doomed!
  3. Re: Teleporter - Only He’s gonna knock himself out SO fast.
  4. Re: I need a simple Bank map In case anyone missed it this was also asked in a different thread and received many more answers. http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71155
  5. Re: Cat Burgler's Glasscutter Your question was "who needs lock-picking?" Now, lock-picking is most often used for opening doors and locks without causing damage. If you were only referring to the suggested use of Lock-picking to represent cutting glass, then my response was inappropriate. However, your mention of breaking into safes and such followed by “who needs lock-picking?” seems to suggest that this build could/would replace the lock-picking skill all together.
  6. Re: Cat Burgler's Glasscutter Anyone who doesn't want to cause property damage? Anyone who isn't trying to play the system? Everyone, because no sane GM would allow that build for its proposed purpose?
  7. Re: Super Fantasy- The Land of Mar'Veldc Nice
  8. Re: Adjustment recovery idea Well said and good point.
  9. Re: Cat Burgler's Glasscutter Braincraft: Lol.
  10. Re: Magic Carpet Each person doesn’t necessarily take up a whole hex. I mean, sitting down I’m not 2 meters wide, so 8 people wouldn’t be too hard to fit. The one in the movie is smaller than the one in Sean’s build (at least, I’m pretty sure it wasn’t 4 meters long) and easily carried up to three characters.
  11. Re: Useless Hero Facts Calculus, Chem? Try upper level Lit courses! Sure, no single text book beats the science beasts you guys name, but try carrying two text books, three novels (two hard covers), two collections of short stories, and a binder filled with about 15 pounds of paper from the daily handouts. On days I had Lit class I had to leave all my other books in the car…
  12. Re: How to build an unusual attack Nice Sean.
  13. Re: Magic Carpet I don’t like Flight, UBOS, for representing a flying carpet, even with the focus limitation, for several reasons. The main one is what happens when someone shoots the carpet as you are flying? I prefer carpet as a vehicle (or follower in some cases) so that it has its own Defenses, Body, weaknesses (fire anyone?) et cetera. I know “common and dramatic sense” can deal with a focus being attacked and such, but I feel a full write-up of how it works is better, especially if it is going to be a constant part of the campaign.
  14. Re: Magic Carpet The Aladdin version would most definitely be a follower. A regular flying carpet would probably be best built as a vehicle.
  15. Re: Body for focuses But what about things other than armor/defenses? I think his suggestion is for Foci in general...
  16. Re: Oh She with the Prehensile Hair Sean, I like. Must spread Rep...
  17. Re: Quote of the Week from my gaming group... You made me laugh, rep.
  18. Re: Code vs Killing, but Gods a little fuzzy about kneecaps. Since people seem to fall back on “your definition of ‘X’ is wrong” as an argument, without actually providing definitions, here… From Dictionary.com:
  19. Re: Help .. I need help writing up this power LOL. Must spread Rep, yadda yadda....
  20. Re: Super-accurate with ranged attacks Thanks, that helps.
  21. Re: Code vs Killing, but Gods a little fuzzy about kneecaps. The "The Dark Knight" version does.
  22. Re: superuseless superpowers So...what did he use it for?
  23. Re: Super-accurate with ranged attacks I don't have UM. Can anyone tell me why this move was abolished? Was it obviously abusive, or no one noticed it wasn’t rules legal until after publication, or what?
