Title for the next HERO villains book

Re: Title for the next HERO villains book

(Though my personal preference anyway would be America's Dumbest Super-Criminals. ;))

Well, that would work, if Steve was going to recreate CLOWN (and knowing Steve, the answer will be no CLOWN. Heck, he proably has problems with Le Master Mime existing).

It does make me wish for the simpler days when all you need was a theam, and then add the word Enimies on the end of it.

Re: Title for the next HERO villains book

That one's actually pretty good, though I might rearrange the word order.

Well, it is (or rather, will be) your book, I'm hardly going to try to dictate the title... ;)

I've tried saying it out loud, and you're right, it doesn't really roll trippingly off the tongue in its current form. This must be why you're the big-shot game designer, and I'm just a fan who bangs words together...

Re: Title for the next HERO villains book

So far there's Conquerors, Killers & Crooks and Villains, Vandals & Vermin. Lets help HERO games by coming up with a title for their next book of bad guys.

My suggestion:

Monsters, Mercenaries & Miscreants

I was always partial to "Enemies" myself. Sigh...

Re: Title for the next HERO villains book

Similarly' date=' it has to be small enough of a title to fit on a cover, or else it drives Andy nuts. I rejected [i']Sorcerers, Spirits, And Super-Mages[/i] as the title for AA for that (and several other) reasons -- it has two long words. One long word (as in CKC or NKN) is OK, two is problematic.

This is assuming that driving Andy nuts is a *bad* thing.

Re: Title for the next HERO villains book

I always liked my suggestion for a Star HERO enemies sourcebook. Rogues, Reavers, and Renegades or RRR (the Space Pirates sourcebook). :)

arrrrr Matey (through in Rapscallions in place of rogues perhaps.)

QM

If it's RRR, there'd have to be a lot of "Earth humor...." ;)

Hmmm...

I'm waiting for the Mystic supplement: Wizards, Werebears and Warlocks. :D

I think you're on to something here.

Maybe Wizards, Warlocks and Witches?

Warlocks, Wizards and Werebeasts?

Werebeasts, Therebeasts, Freaks? (WTF?)

:joint: <--Moi? Nothing! Never! I don't even drink alcohol. (Yea for teetotalers!)

Now, I do love puns and corny jokes. Heck, I even e-mailed my wife at school when we were teaching alliteration (i.e. from stem to stern) with my whole e-mail that way. Something like:

(Ahem) All animals against alliteration always agree: antagonizing ain't acceptable.

Well, something like that; it was much longer. Now palindromes.... :)

A man, a plan, a canal. Panama.

Drowsy sword.

Drow sword.

Amy, must I jujitsu my ma?
