Smartasses' date=' Knuckleheads, and Wiseguys - The sourcebook for villains based on things your dad called you as a kid.[/quote']

Oh yes, the follow up to Losers, Morons, and Idiot-Children.

Actually, for a second I thought it was a suggestion for 3-Stooges villainy.

Doug-I like your suggestion' date=' in similar vein might be...Maniacs, Monsters, and Masterminds[/quote']

I suspect that DoJ will avoid using these names, on the premise that the logical abbreviation (MMM) is already being used by Monsters, Minions and Marauders.

Fiends, Felons and Foes?

Aargh, beat me to it.

Ummm...

Head-Honchos and Henchmen (it only has two nouns, but it does use 3 Hs)

And anyway, I'm kind of waiting for a book full of good guys.

How about Rogues' Gallery? It's a simple, yet straightforward title.

Besides, if the term itself is good enough for the comic-book companies to use,

then it ought to be good enough to use as the title for a supervillain supple-

ment, right?

It was also good enough for AD&D :D

Crosshair Collie: Now, now, let's not have any more of that... It's far too

early in the morning to engage in wholesale Shatnering ( :tsk: ).

Agent X: AD&D already used that for one of their books? Hunh... Well, that

should pretty well tell you how much AD&Ding I do ( ).

All right, since simple, straightforward titles are evidently out of favor these days,

then how about:

The UNTIL Supervillain Database?

Back in, like, 1982 they used the Rogue's Gallery as a title for a bunch of generic npcs of various levels and a few "personalities" for use in 1st Edition Advanced Dungeons and Dragons. Later on, I think they did another version of it.

Fiends, Felons and Foes

That one's actually pretty good, though I might rearrange the word order.

As someone observed, we definitely don't want to use a title that abbreviates to an abbreviation we already use, like MMM. It's annoying enough to Tina that we have two titles this year that abbreviate "VA." :hex:

Similarly, it has to be small enough of a title to fit on a cover, or else it drives Andy nuts. I rejected Sorcerers, Spirits, And Super-Mages as the title for AA for that (and several other) reasons -- it has two long words. One long word (as in CKC or NKN) is OK, two is problematic.

So I'm guessing Lamebrains, Lightweights, And Losers wouldn't work, even for a humor-oriented Enemies book? :)

(Though my personal preference anyway would be America's Dumbest Super-Criminals. ;))
