Good "Four of a Kind"'s...

Okay. I need to create 4 350pt supers (good guys, magic powered, siblings).

And I figure their powers should collectively fit a theme.

But apart from the overused 'classic' four elements... I'm a little stumped.

Helps?

Actually, that's not so bad. Multiplication (duplicates), Subtraction (shrinking), Addition (growth), and Division... (?)

West

Death

Pestilence

War

Famine

(though not exactly heroes)

I've got 4 practicioners of magic named Void, Zero, Null, and Zed. (Collectively, the Infinitum; Rumored to have a 5th Brother who was unable to cross over from their abyss).

I know it's been done to death, but the Witches of the 4 cardinal directions.

Any four spirit totems, such as the 4 winds mentioned above, 4 animals from the four elements (Avian, Land, Aquatic, and Subterranean).

Blood, Sugar, Sex, Magic... Oops. Sorry, I was looking at my CDs and saw The Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Well, how about stealing from The Mystic Worlds and have them be empowered by the Four Zoas?

Art, Nature, Order, and Chaos.

Or have them tap the powers of the Quanterion: The Land of Legends, The Netherworlds, Elysium, and Babylon. Since they're all good guys you can have the one tapping the Netherworld being empowered by Eastern demons who aren't themselves evil but punish evil doers as part of their duty.

Re: Good "Four of a Kind"'s...

You could go with four fires.

Jade (female) - The mystic flame. General Magic-user (multipower or VPP) Team Leader.

Sapphire (female) - The hottest one of the group. Both in firepower (energy projector) and with beautiful blue skin. Sapphire has just enough strength to carry....

Crimson (male) - The brick with attitude.

Saffron (???) - The dizzy blonde. Martial Artist? Just when you figure her out, she flickers and becomes something else. (Ooh... Multiform perhaps? Or just teleports.) Maybe has one inch of stretching as she is like a candle flame in the wind.

Body, Mind, Soul, and... er... Beer? :nonp:

Seriously though, how about the four states of matter: solid, liquid gas, plasma?

Solid: Brick

Liquid: Shape Shifter

Gas: Speedster or Flier

Or maybe invisibility or force field?

Plasma: Energy Projector

I can almost picture them.

Fighter

Magic-User

Thief

Cleric

EEEEEEEEEEKKKKK!!!!!! : runs to hide in the closet :

Although that would be darn hilarious. The characters for my superhero campaign are Fighter, Cleric, Mage, Thief (that is the correct order, BTW :) I think that is the order they were listed in the 1Ed PH).
