For those who may not have ever heard of it, it was a series in 1996 that ran one season and was produced by Sam Rami and Shawn Cassiday (Yes, that shawn cassiday), and was a horror tale about a sherrif in a small southern town (played spectacularly by Gary Cole) with unexplained powers and a vice-like grip on everything and everyone, except the boy that is likley his. It was interesting, althogh as with anything involving "time travel" there ere some rather odd plot holes. But an interesting view of 2054. I might steal some of it for Kazei 5 2.0. A few moderately funny moments, senseless plot, minor nudity, overall not that bad but not something I'd go out of my way to see either. Also recently watched Beer Fest while working out. It had two pretty good superhero fights, a lot of flashbacks, a lot of stylized coloring and camera work so that at times it was like watching a live action video game. At one point the movie did go black and white for long enough that I thought they had made a mistake in editing. The ending was, well there was confusion and then credits.
