Oxygen and lithium are particularly inventive IMHO. And I'm glad that folks are exploring beyond the literal qualities of their elements.

 

So, at this point we have iron, silver, gold, lead, iridium, oxygen, lithium, carbon, and hydrogen. That would seem to fill the quota, but I'd appreciate a ruling as to whether Badger's duo count as one entry or two.

Duos that are defined as separate people usually count as two entries. Matt's Carbon could be a duplicator, a team, etc. There's not enough information to make a call.

 

In any case, if Carbon Chain is number 9 Matt gets to pick the next team.

Atlas was once a superhero. But that was before the day which would change the world. The day of the events in Detrot...no...it is still to painful to talk about, even now for Atlas. After thoes events, he advised UNTIL to start a group of heros which would be proactive aganst supervillians. But thoes short sighted fools. No...thay refused. Now, the only way to make shure something like the Detroit Tragity to happen again is to take over the world and eliminate all superbeings who will not join with him.

Sixteen Tons is Herbie Wallaby. He only has one power. He can increase gravity in an area to sixteen tons. Some superstrong superhumans might not have a problem dealing with it, but normal forces and targets can collapse with one application of his power.

Tirael Marko Vasil.

 

He seems to be a powerfull illusionist. He only participapes in their adventures as a "Physical Illusion", wich is basically a superstrong, superthough image of him that is just as real as the other teammembers but totally disposeable(Regeneration with Resurrection). His way to defeat armies is to create a lot more than one image of himself (Duplciation), but that ability is taxing. He does not talk about his origin, but his choosen appereance is that of an alien. There are some hints that the species whose image he takes died out milennia or even a million years ago.

 

He seems to have an wierd interest in the "EgoManiacs" and his targets often involve using them or affect them. And he knows some things only they can know.

He also goes out of his way to know where The Dreamcatcher and Armin are.

 

 

He was once a hero, but not in this place. He indeed belonged to the alien race whose appeareance he shows. He had the luck, or should it be called unluck, to find one of the mightiest weapons in the universe: Enranel. As his species is was very long lived, he learned many secrets of this weapon and it's brothers. Among them is that their powers is indeed infinite, with only the host durability limiting how much can be applied. And he revealed an even greater secret: The weapons limitation to a specific type target is not in the power itself, but only in the mind of the weapon. An experienced wielder can overwrite its limited ability to "see" only one thing and use the weapons against everything - living, machine, powers - all forms of mater and all forms of energy are equal to them.

 

However he also learned of the downsides of beign choosen by them: That every wielder was destined to die, eventually. So he made the decision the link his soul the the weapon, so he could guide the next wielder. He succeded - the fact that he was no machine concealed him from the weapon itself - but underestimated one thing: The time it would take for the next wielder to come along. The weapon drifted 2 Million Years though space before falling to earth and being found by the next wielder.

 

By that time, Vasil had gone totally mad now aims to destroy the universe. So when the next wielder came along he "interferred" in the conection between weapon and host, with the effects as observed in Halcyon. His goal is to create the "ultimate" host from Halcyons body and then take it over. The day he succeds, he could destroy entire armies of superhumans with a single strike but it will take a lot more time. Until then he must be very cautious of the wielders of the two other weapons, as both could easily destroy him.

Eep! Six months! I didn't realize it's been that long. I'm in the process of updating my list, but I have about 25 pages to enter. Yikes!

JavAneh Vazdi was NEVER a good person. She was, however, a genius. It did not take her long to realize that as a young Iranian woman from a poor family, it was best to 'go through the motions' and bide her time. She went as far through the education system as a woman could, focusing on atomic research as her country was so hungry for it it could taste it. She demured to other scientists publicaly, but secretly stole their work (and improved upon it). She feigned a strong faith, but actually worshiped nothing but her own ambition. She played her cards right until at last her big break came. An american superhero in high tech armor was captured flying through Iranian space. JavAneh was assigned on the team to study his armor, but took the oppurtunity to 'free' the superhero and return him to his armor. Feigning romantic interest and a deisre to defect, it was easy to trick the already grateful man. He took her to his lair in America where she played his loyal 'techincial support' for three years, relying not just on the hero's technology (And she soon knew far more about those sciences than he ever did) but using his own contacts to gain access to other high technologies, even that of alien invaders.

 

When she thought she was ready, she used the rewiring she'd done to the hero's armor to turn him into a living atomic warhead and launched him at Tehran. The hero managed to detonate it early over the ocean, but that was her only failure. As both UNTIL and the hero's dearest friends came to evenge him against whatever foe had done this, an army of a thousand robots (Mimicing the looks and ablities of the hero who had saved her) engaged them, and there were so many more where that was.

The UNTIL army was killed to a man, but the heroes were allowed to live so they might witness JavNeh make her own name, a name that challenged decency itself simply because it delighted her to do so.

 

She would now and forever more be Jezebel Vile. She has no less than fourteen suits of powered armor (Each a varient in purpose and power) and more who knows how many more robots. She has claimed an island in the Persian Gulf as her domain, and has a dozen loyal and deadly women each with devices of her own either gifted or implanted within them to act as her shock troops. The other Tyrants are dangerous yes, but SHE has already claimed territory of her own, and death to the man who crosses her path.

Concept: While many scientists that had worked with the Axis powers of WW2 were given a chance to 'change sides' at the end of the war with records neatly expunged or forgotten, two scientists, the lovely but infamous Imperial biologist Dr. Riyoka Taksato and the mad but brillaint Eugenics expert, Dr. Botho Kortig instead simply fled to Brazil. Bound by a common hatred of the allies, and an obsession with building the 'perfect humans' they looked beyond their ethnic and cultural differences, fell in love, and began a breeding program helped along by genetic tinkering, chemical therapy, and conditioning. This 'experiment' expanded as generations of the Kortigs begat their own children/experiments taking in mates of power and few ethical restraints. Now, at last, success! This latest generation (between 18 and 30 years in age) have geniune controllable SUPER Powers of their own! They have been released on the world, supposedly to avenge themselves on the nations that defeated the Axis powers. In truth, however, some of the new "Axis of Blood" have goals of their own that look not to the past, but the future.

The family is either related by blood or marriage, but as might be shown by their founders marriage (japanese and german scientists gone to Brazil), race is not limited. So do what you want on that While each member faces some indoctrination to hate the Old Allies, they don't have to completely buy into it and may have their own reasons for being villains (Greed, enjoys violence, whatever).

This one is the plotter. The strategist. The thinker. He is not a scientist but he has military skills. Some of the others think he is too indoctrinated in the old ways but he points out that those who do not learn the lessons of history ae doomed to repeat them. Invading France is easy, it is surrounded. But Great Britain is an island and presents unique problems. As does Russia due to its sheer size. But if you want to take out China, you are going to have to take out Russia. So Russia first then for the maternal line the total destruction of China. And America must fall via invasion through Mexico, Canada and assaults on the Eastern seaboard and Texas. This time nothing less than the world will do.

Guderian dresses like a Wermacht officer and is a minor brick with some invunerability. He is also politeness to a fault to anyone of Japanese lineage.

Falling Sun is Milenda Yakamoto, a half German, half Japanies woman bread for the ability to generate and manipulate energy. Unforcently for her, it is darkness, and not light which was the original target of the breading program. She strives to be useful, and to get the others of the group to amite that she is not a mistake.

Blitkreig is Otto Krieg. Though bald and brown eyed still likes to talk amongst family as if he is the perfect Aryan. Though that is just an act he puts on for his family. THe billionare international industrialist only subscribes to one philosophy. Power. And as his family is a great source he plays the part of the good Aryan. As much as he hates to admit it Guderian is smarter than him, and Schwartz can create devices faster than any ten of his factories, even with his superspeed. He is also blessed with some superstrength.

 

One of the most ruthless of the Axis of Blood, Blitzkreig between financing, and providing safehouses likes to be on the front lines. As far as he's concerned this is Otto Krieg's world. If he has no dcchoice but to share it might as well be with family. Though sharing isn't his strong suit.

Deadly Fist

 

The martial artist of the group, The Fist as he is generally known tends toward martial art uniforms albeit decorated in bright designs. He can outfight any of his siblings as that is what he was designed for and that is what his teachings have bred into him. He looks the most Oriental of the group and will deliberately bait anyone who hates Chinese, Japanese or other Asian races into a fight just so that he can show them up.

 

 

There is one problem with the Fist. Martial arts teachings do not fit well with the beliefs of his creators nor his siblings. Nor do some of the nationalistic beliefs of the Orient fit with his ancestry. The Fist is more likely to spare a foe than the others due to what the others believe is Martial art tournament behaviour. In truth it is because he sees no reason to kill them

Ilsa Freitag is La Llorona. A nearly emotionless woman, Ilsa is incapable of feeling pain (for all the good and bad it implies). Indeed, she can't seem to feel anything physically for the most part. She has some natural hardened defenses (physical, energy and mental) and damage reduction. However, what makes her dangerous and valuable to the Axis is that she can inflict agonizing pain merely with a touch -- and THAT in turn enables her to feel pleasure. She doesn't care about the family doctrine, all Ilsa wants is to hurt people for her own addiction. She and the rest of the Axis are insisting Deadly Fist teach her grappling techniques so she can be more effective with her power, something Fist is reluctant to do.

 

New Team: The Dakota Destroyers!

Theme: Hiding out in the Badlands, these five wannabe powerhouses have plans to TAKE OVER THE US MIDWEST~!!! Unfortunately for them, most heroes (and villains) don't consider them ANY sort of threat and their plans usually fail right off the bat. Indeed, the only hero team of any worth who they can match equally (and actually treat them as legitimate dangers) with are the Delaware Defenders, but they're all the way on the East Coast and most hero teams don't pay any attention to them either. The media ignores the "epic" battle the two teams had behind Mount Rushmore when the Defenders took a vacation. Still, one day the Destroyers' luck may change...

New Team: Fear Inc.

Numbers: as phobias

Theme: The group are a team of trained Black Ops psychological warriors that have been augmented by the C.I.A. for use against terrorists and supervillains around the world. The usage of fears was a means to get their enemies to talk and to force surrenders or general chaos. The whole small paycheck, heavily controlled, secret lives things didn't work for them so they have gone rogue. The group uses old contact and travel methods to stay off the radar. They are rogue but still being hidden by the C.I.A. as the C.I.A. would love to have them back. The C.I.A. has even hired them with deals of coverups to create disruptions although they are too cagey to take specific targets. Their powers are specifically related to causing the fear in their targets. Their leader is a psychopath / psychologist / profiler who has an uncanny ability to observe an opponent to find weaknesses and phobias. Claustro is an entangler who likes to capture and leave entangled as others work. Stitches is an illusionist who uses invisibility and very detailed illusions to "gaslight opponents" with superstititions and "skeletons". Blacklight is a darkness projector that is immune to his own ability and nighttime penalties as he fights and stalks targets to create fear. This is my suggestion for a villain team if they ever do something like "Ultimate Disadvantages / Complications". Add more as you see fit.
