They took a bit of a chance with Bruce Boxleitner, and he turned out great but she was miscast, especially trying to follow Claudia Christiansen. Deathwalker was probably the best example of this, though the episode with the child who had a genetic disorder that didn't allow it to breathe right and was curable by modern science his parents wouldn't allow was another. Kosh in that episode had one of my favorite lines from the series, when the child's parents asked him to intervene on their behalf after the humans decided to treat their child over their refusal, which would spark a major diplomatic incident: "The avalanche has already started. Walter Koenig who played Chekov in Star Trek the Original Series played the telepath Bester who became one of the biggest swines in the series. Londo was willing to do awful things to get there -- and so was G'Kar. They wanted their homeland back, they wanted their pride back, at all costs. At different times in the show either one seemed tremendously villainous or heroic, sympathetic and unlikable. It was verywell handled. At that time Londo didn't see a way for the Centauri to regain their former power. But when that path became clear he was a willing participant, albeit with reservations. I believe he knew the implications, but didn't truly understand them until faced with the reality.
