HOWEVER, organizing books by color is an increasingly common trend, and some of the results are rather striking. Two days after this strip was posted, a co-worker came to ask my advice on how to organize her home collection. I actually told her to consider by color. I have one shelf for the category "favorites" and another for "gifts" but those are ok because nobody else is going to come in and search for something. This is particularly important if, as is usually the case, the cover is larger than the pages themselves.
