    Anther thing to fear is:
What if  we loose the bulk of our supers? Unlike normal soldiers, you can not just throw in another guy to replace anyone you lost.
Compare it to the strategy called "Fleet in Being":
" In naval warfare, a "fleet in being" is a naval force that extends a controlling influence without ever leaving port. Were the fleet to leave port and face the enemy, it might lose in battle and no longer influence the enemy's actions, but while it remains safely in port, the enemy is forced to continually deploy forces to guard against it. A "fleet in being" can be part of a sea denial doctrine, but not one of sea control. "

If two Nation Teams fight and one side looses half their Supers, that is a half the Nation Supers gone. The "Team in being" would no longer work.

    Way easier:
Hitler was genuinely Paranoid of a takeover. And justified so - there are (no joke) 42 Documented Assasination attempts on him. With a unknown number of Undocumented ones.
Ironically the allies ware about as afraid of a takeover. The last thing the leadership wanted was a german surrender and another "Stab in the Back" myth. Unconditional Surrender was the only acceptable outcome. And only he would have driven the war that far.

Of course Hitler was also a madman about racial/genetic Purity. It could be well that he hunted down the german supers, using dedicated Killsquads of the SS. Something that would be a challenge for the Heroes of other nations.
If the Arian is already the "Übermensch", no Superhuman above that can be tollerated!

The problem with two body heroes is what happens in a fight.  If the character is basically a normal person then what happens during a fight.  If there is a group (normal for a game) how does the innocent bystander associate with them?  If someone f8nds out that Captain Invincible is simply asummoning of weedy Wendy, then why not take out Wendy in the first round of combat?

Those are the practicalities of the game.

Now, say you bought a 30PD, 30ED forcefield.  That protects you from damage.  What if the SFX of that is Captain Invincible appearing and leaping in front of the attack?  A 12D6 physical blast power.  The SFX is Slab the Mighty, jumping from nowhere and slamming the person you want attacked.

The conceit is that the villains never work out where these powers come from and who they need to attack.  It works narratively in a story but a game has a different dynamic.  The villains will know or they will find out.  It will quickly be obvious who the source of power is.  Work to that, play with the SFX.  I might have a suite of fantasy heroes that come in different contexts.  I would even, as GM, allow the details of the SFX to change.  In a forest, it might be a bear that comes to attack, a tree that falls over to take the hit, in a Hollow World adventure, it might be dinosaurs of one form or another.

It could be a lot of fun without trying to stretch the rules, or the patience of the GM.

    First we need to specify:
Is this a GM or Player Character?

If this is a GM Character, you can basically just do it. Make sure to not allow Dispel or Healing vs Transform/Summon, so you never have to wonder wich AP range this is. It happens:

If this is a Player Chacter, then the Hero is the player Character. Not Sally Summoner.
Sally Summoner sounds like some form of Complication/Limitation. "Can only appear where Sally Summoner is there and calls for him".
This would imply a DNCP (Sally Summoner) and lock out numerours other complications (like Secret Identity).

Summoning has all those issues with Phases to Orient oneself, Duties and the like. You propably end up having a Hero Summoned 24/7.
Duplication is another Option, but having a widly different Duplicated Character is not really supported.
Transform is a fallback Power, that should not be carelessly put onto anyones sheet - especially not Player Characters. It is around "last resort".

It does not sound like the Kid would be usefull at all. The Idea with Multiforms and "Powerset disabeled" Limitations like "Only in Alternate/Heroic Identity" is to have the lesser Character be at least somewhat competent and interesting to play.
With Limtiations you are supposed to Invest the saved points into stuff the normal self can do. Skills, Perks, that sort of thing.
With Multiform the Main Sheet should be at least a "competent normal". Because otherwise you spend 90% of the time in the "Alternate" Form.

I see too many people trying to absolve themselves of guilt for the bad they do, by claiming someone else does worse. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, Badger. But nothing radical environmentalists did justifies Japan conducting decades of commercial whaling in violation of international agreements their own government signed. Their excuse of "scientific research" was so transparent as to be almost pornographic. I guess by openly acknowledging their intentions, Japan has moved one rung up the ethics ladder from the bottom.

I think the issue is that you seem to think someone has indicated that a muscular karate guy (who is slower, often fewer martial maneuvers … but much higher defenses) is less ofa karate guy than a wiry, fast karate guy with a ton of maneuvers … when, in fact, no one has indicated that, at all.  Rather, what's been indicated is that they are two different archteypes … as represented by very different builds and point expenditures.

As to Gnome's question about a speedster, it is, of course, a different archtetype with its own, different builds and point expenditures as compared with scrappers and martial artists.  It's probably best exemplified by comparing Bruce Lee to The Flash.  Where Bruce Lee is, perhaps, representative of the pinnacle of human speed and dexterity combined with martial techniques, the Flash's speed is superhuman and rather than relying on martial technique, all of his powers derive entirely from his speed. Can Bruce Lee move so fast soas to travel through time?  No.  And Can The Flash perform a Martial Disarm or a Nerve Strike?  No.

I think you get the idea when using some common sense to compare the builds associated with the various archetypes as to what is a speedster, a brick, a scrapper, a martial artist, a flying energy projector, etc.  Trying to define a razor thin dividing line is, of course, an impossible task, so I'm not going to try because I think good, old-fashioned common sense is adequate.

As they did in every other DC film. Why are people still on about that lie "nobody is being saved"? It is really bleeping me off!

    Man of Steel alone had:
All those guys on the oil rig.
    Lois Lane.
    Humanity, 4 times over.
That family in the end from Zods laser eyes.

    BvS:
Too many "superman is here to save the day" scenes to remember.
    Humanity from Doomsday

    Wonder Woman:
Humanity from Ares manipulation, wich would have turned Nucelar in the next WW.
Everyone that would have been killed by the final plane.

    Suicide Squad:
Everyone in every miltiar installation that was not destoryed.
    Humanity, again.
And it was caused by non-powered Humanity. So you are welcome.

    Justice League:
Wonder Woman saving everyone at the bank.
Aquaman by giving poor fishers fish to eat while the harbor is froozen.
All those caputred scientists/workers by Flash.
    Superman from Death.
All those guys around the Nuclear Reactor from Steppenwolf/a government nuclear response/expanding terraforming.
    Humanity from deadlby Terraforming, again.

They save humanity between 1-4 times per film.
Compared to that, the few billion deaths from a Atlantean/Surface war was tame casualties.

Two minutes in.  Shellfire in the distance around us, but nothing worrisomely close.  Cold and partly cloudy conditions.  Cats are disturbed but both of them are wusses.  A fresh can of food -- and turning the electric throw blanket -- seems to be restoring morale.  We can hold without any additional support at this time; supply condition excellent aside from the perennial lack of antimatter ordnance.

Playing Blackstone Fortress - one of the PCs is playing the Kroot Mercenary, and another the Navigator

Me: No wonder the Kroot is sticking close to the Navigator. The Kroot are directing their own evolution, by assimilating useful genetic traits from the species they eat. So if the Kroot eat enough Navigators, they'll acquire the Navigator gene and they'll be able to use Warp-travel properly. So if you happen to lose an arm while we're in the fortress, don't ask the Kroot what happened to it.
Kroot: Can't you spare a finger?
Navigator: I've got a finger for you right here.

Christopher reacted to Gnome BODY (important!) in Flying Dodge to enter Combat
Correction: A close reading of the rules in Ultimate Martial Artist for the FMove tag indicates that you cannot abort to a Flying Dodge to gain a FMove.  FMove indicates that the maneuver can be taken during or after a Full Move, not that the maneuver includes a  Full Move.
Since you already can't abort to a Full Move, aborting to a Flying Dodge thus does not provide movement.

My objections to the maneuver are now gone.

Further correction: Writeup for Flying Dodge says you can abort to movement, but this doesn't prevent the attack, but does change range modifiers for ranged attacks.  I don't feel any of this follows from the maneuver's specifications, but this is vaguely balanced so w/e.

These days most of the industry folk I hear discussing a film's public reception put more stock in Cinemascore than Rotten Tomatoes. Cinemascore's letter grade is based on surveys of people who have actually gone to see the movie, so is less subject to being manipulated by biased parties vote-bombing a website, trying to create a trend for the masses to follow.

You're free to interpret it that way if you wish.  However, since the 5E Equipment Guide has the following listed in the Utility Belt, I think the intent is that a 1-point KA with Penetrating will get 1 BODY through:

Otherwise, it seems an awful lot of Advantage just to get 1 STUN through.  Especially on something that's probably being used on an inanimate object.

Won’t work.  First, you count the Body on the dice roll (0 is 0, 2-5 is 1, 6 is 2) to determine how much gets through.  So your 1 pip attack Penetrates 0.

Second, there’s no way you’ll hit with all those autofire attacks.

Christopher reacted to Hermit in Aquaman Spoiler Thread
    From Comic Vine
"Aquaman possesses great superhuman strength sufficient to toss a tank or punch a hole in a submerged submarine. It is generally accepted that Arthur can lift well over 100 tons, as it's evident when he pushed a tectonic plate downward onto the trench in Aquaman #4, towed a boat with the waves pushing down onto it in Aquaman #7, and sucker punched Superman in Justice League #16. Even before the New 52 he is depicted carrying really massive objects appearing to have great amount of weight such as an oil rig platform and a city block of Sub-Diego (as shown in picture) which both weighs easily hundreds of tons. His strength enables him to demolish through anything from thick wood to heavy metal and would take reinforced barriers to have a chance of slowing him down. Aquaman's strength is on a category that allows him to defeat and hold his own in a physical fights against brute powerhouse characters like Olympian, Slig, Wonder Woman, Triton, Lobo and Superboy.

In Throne of Atlantis, he has shown to be able to punch Superman, and take on Wonder Woman. He has been shown among other things lifting a transatlantic ocean liner (around 160000 tons) on land, throwing an enormous cargo ship at the Dead King and throwing a nuclear submarine from the bottom of the ocean to the surface. Perhaps his most impressive feat of strength yet would be when he went toe to toe with a legendary hero* and held his own."
