  1. Ghidorah always loses because he lands on the ground and bites. Old canon was because even though he had three heads , he was one of the stupidest kaiju. If he's made to be semi-intelligent and fights that way, then Godzilla needs something to force him to the ground. Close combat advantage goes to Godzilla.
  2. Yeah this is what I would have suggested also.
  3. The other owners should be happy about this deal. It sets a ceiling for any future negotiations. After all, it will be hard for an agent to make a case that his client is as good or better than Trout.
  4. It would have been better if she had fought a Sentry robot and just shot down the missiles and crippled the ships.
  5. Never ascribe intelligence to a CW super show's main characters. Stupidity, misplaced trust and overly emotional reactions are the norm not the exception.
  6. Why not do a Drain that does Stun and Body simultaneously? It is slightly more lethal than the OP power suggestion but is the simplest way by RAW.
  7. She should be in character. In the comics, she's a fighter pilot who moved to Air Force Intelligence and did covert ops and security. Then she got super powers(and is in the top echelon of the power scale) and now she works for the government. I can't think of a way for her character not to come across as arrogant especially as a woman who fought her way to near the top of a mainly men's club.
  8. No, because the reverse is also true. Just standard human emotional inconsistency.
  9. It depends, in the movie it appears that the Gauntlet may have been destroyed by the snap, but in the comics it was working just fine afterwards. If it is still even partially functional, the Celestials will give Thanos a wide berth. Only us humans are pigheaded enough to tilt at that windmill.
  10. The Kree have been aware of Earth for a long time and have been here before. If you link AoS to the MCU, then the Kree have a lot invested in Earth and don't want to destroy us. They want to harvest /recruit our Inhuman population(that they created and lost to rebellion) to give themselves an army of metas.
  11. Wow, just wow. Playoffs for Cleveland this year. http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26242951/browns-acquiring-obj-giants
  12. I liked the movie overall. It has some slow points but has lots of origin story to tell and does a good job of telling it. The character interactions are the best part followed by the music. The action suffered from too much fighting in the dark. Her power level is ... high but not too far beyond what Thor or the last Iron Man suit were capable of with the exception of her flight ability(no learning curve). It's not the best but it's comparable the the first Cap and Thor movies. I'll rate it 4 out of 5.
  13. I'm sure it's a long list. Maybe they should amnesty all of you to soothe your guilt.?
  14. Lifting the tons of rock to allow the Resistance to exit the cave seems pretty advanced also.
  15. Are Snoke and Kylo equal to Sidious and Vader? No. not by a long stretch. But if you don't give them some credit for competence , then the entire narrative collapses. Luke says Kylo took out all his other students. He never mentions Snoke. Kylo has as much or more training than Luke did at the end of RotJ.
  16. How do you figure that Kylo isn't trained? The only power he hasn't displayed in force lightning and no one else, Jedi or Sith has has ever frozen blaster bolts in midair. We'll never know how Rey would have fared against Snoke. She never fought him because Kylo and the elite guards were in her path.
  17. The difference is stark though. Luke was a good pilot but his minimal force training only enabled him to make a tough shot in a stressful combat situation. He then trained with Yoda in Empire, ran off to rescue his friends and got beat down and had his hand cut off. He then went back for more training and still lost the fight in Return but won by turning Vader. Rey went into a bar and found a lightsaber in a chest, got captured and tortured and upon her rescue , defeated the main villain in a one on one duel. She hasn't lost a fight to date.
  18. Just watched Alita and I came away impressed. It managed to compress a great deal of the manga, stay true to it and still tell good story with great visuals and top line action. I'll say 4.5 out of 5 stars.
  19. I can't comment on this movie without risking falling to the Dark Side.
  20. Free equipment is far more unbalancing in a Fantasy setting than a Modern one. Buying spells and powers while others get weapons for free is a character tax on combat effectiveness and I've seen very few games where a character can afford to be useless in combat rather than outside of it.
  21. Very missed point. That Martial DC adds to all martial maneuvers except Block and Dodge. How much would you pay for an Aid to STR, NND, Flash and KB(for target falls)? Conversely, that +5 STR is not what it used to be. It no longer gives REC, Stun or Leaping. I agree with you reasoning but not with your limitation values. You are pricing in a vacuum. Characters who have these constructs are using them as their main powers with no disadvantage to them that is not shared by constructs that lack them.
  22. Martial DC's are also under priced. They should be somewhere between 6 and 8 points.
