It's one more game for four teams. Balanced against one or (remotely possibly) two teams teams from non-Power 5 having access to the national title game. Yes, its mostly a money grab, but it'll give more money to the smaller schools and give kids at those schools a shot at a dream.
There's a level of bold and stupid here that just floors me. Plus if you search the story you find out they were busted because they messed up a customer's order.
To me, it's $7 a month to watch Young Justice legally. As much as I love the show, I can't justify it. I already have Netflix, Hulu, Crunchyroll, Funimation and Hi-Dive and it can't stack up to any of them.
I would calculate the cost of the STR added as 2x END if I were justifying the cost but that's more a personal choice of terminology. Costs END is something that is more applicable to a passive power that normally costs no END. At any rate the values are the same so choose your preference.
The Side effect would definitely be closer to severe as eepjr24 points out very eloquently above. That would give the total of 9 points of Powers with a total of -1 in Limitations which gives 4 in Hero calculations.
I personally have a difficult time pricing any power that increases DC's at less than 5 points but YMMV.
You should carve out 3 hrs to watch it. The movie is an awesome example of the action, romance or martial arts genres and is worth seeing for each one. Hero is prettier though.
Jessica's defense against Kilgrave works more like developing the defense against an all or nothing NND than Mental Defense. His powers just do not work on her any longer. Ironically, this fuels his obsession with her, since she is the only person he can have real conversation or interaction with and get genuine responses.
Just got back from The Meg. Surprisingly good execution of shark movie tropes with a talented cast. If you've read and enjoyed the book( I did) you'll enjoy the movie because it stays mostly true to the source material. I think the choice of PG rating and less graphic death scenes was a good one but the end sequence could have been longer. It didn't drag I just wanted more. 4 stars out of 5.
I always thought Mayfield should have been the first QB drafted, followed by Rosen, Jackson, Allen and lastly Darnold. Accuracy, strength of character and work ethic are usually the determiner for QB's success. Mayfield was a former walk-on and became one of the most accurate QB"s in college history.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure if the rights are settled that Deadpool would show up in a sanitized version. Dollars are louder than sense where business is involved.
I think the key to a setting's feel is in establishing a good definition of what it is not.
So for a science fiction setting, I'd rule out any magic and probably most fantastic martial arts.
Then flavor all the powers as tech, genetics/cybernetics and psychic. Then I'd decide how effective I'd want the powers to be (default 1.5 or 2x effect to keep active points low) relative to a NPC normal.
Set your guidelines and stick with them until you have fleshed out the world.
