  1. Well without doing complex math. Auto-keep 5 and 6, auto-reroll 1 and 2. 3's have a 66% chance of doing same or better and 4's have a 50% chance for same or better. So re-roll 3's as it's a good bet and 4's are a coin flip.
  2. +X PRE only vs Snakes, only for hostile PRE attacks, OAF and Charges.
  3. Saving his mother and letting his younger self die would have created the classic paradox. His guilt is over failure to protect both his mom and his younger self.
  4. I dealt with it by houseruling Multiform into a Special Power so it couldn't be used in a framework. Summon is very powerful in a VPP but my houserule for VPP's(no limitations that are not on the Control Cost are allowed) keeps things under control for me. YMMV.
  5. Even if the laser cannon was smaller than a car (your assumption) it moves considerably faster. The thing is, you can Dodge or Dive for Cover vs ANYTHING as long as you are able to abort. Don't confuse Special Effects with Game Mechanics.
  6. By RAW, use maneuvers such as Block, Martial Escape and Reversal in conjunction with CSLs used on DCV. As a house rule, treat breaking free from Grab identically to breaking out of an Entangle.
  7. You can Dodge or Dive for Cover vs a laser cannon. Why would a car be impossible?
  8. Use Gradual Effect, not perfect but you can see the DoT precursors. Or just bring in DoT from 6th.

  10. I wouldn't allow it in general because it's too easy to abuse. One power with 5 CSLs in a Multipower may be allowable but how many is too many 2?, 3?, 5? Every power past the 1st is getting +5 OCV for 1 point and that's assuming no limitations are involved. Also, what is the incentive for buying OCV in these builds?
  11. Change being Stunned to taking >50% of your current Stun. Move all the purely optional Con roles to Body and you're done with taking Con out of the game. You'll see higher Stun totals vs defense creep and higher Body (15-20) IME but not much other change. Combats are shorther by 1-2 phases.
  12. Con is the new Com. It has very little use beyond resisting being Stunned.
  13. The current arc is positioning Superman as a messiah. Next up he rises from the dead to save us.
  14. Saw the movie yesterday and it wasn't bad but could have been so much better. Too much of the plot hinges on Lex's far reaching power and genius He plays Batman like he's been his shrink of 20 years. The military gives him unrestricted and unsupervised access to Zod and the ship He figures out secret id's like crossword puzzles. ( He should be smart enough for this but its glaring that he does and the government is clueless.) Batman has to be OOC violent, stupid( he has no knowledge of the other metahumans, hunh?) and a near psychotic a$$hole for the plot to advance. He won't kill Joker or Ras but is willing to murder Superman on the chance he'll do something bad someday. That said, I liked the movie overall. It could have used more happy moments ( Bathtub scene is the only one.) and I'd have liked to see the fight vs Doomsday instead of figures moving in dust clouds.
  15. I think a great deal of MCU Civil War will hinge on the treatment of Winter Soldier. Cap is basically saying we can reform this guy and the trailers keep showing him using lethal force against non-villains. The gunshot in Stark's face may be Tony's tipping point and the shot at Rhodey the clincher.
  16. Remembering this from a Steve ruling which caused me to house rule it in my games. Don't have access to 5er right now.
  17. There was still a doubling rule in 5th but Deadly Blow adds to base damage. The 2 DC cestus goes to 5 DC and you get 3 DC from STR and 2 DC from Martial Strike. You get to 10 DC so a 3d6+1 HKA.
  18. Area effect hexes, reduced by range with indirect to point it toward you. Max damage at the far point and less closer to you.
  19. Off the top of my head: PRE attacks, perhaps with a linked Aid. Drain OCV/DCV vs Mental Defense Extra Levels linked to PRE attacks.
  20. I'd trust Coulson above the leader of Hydra.
  21. Why not just tell Coulson and get the team looking for his son from the beginning? Then pretend to go along with Malick until the last moment.
  22. There is an optional rule in APG1 or 2 that allows mentalists to stack powers. The primary is at full strength and the others contribute 1/4 of their power.
  23. This is the flip side of the sell-off issue and its basically this. Vulnerabilities and Susceptibilities are Character Options. They are not required unless there is a campaign house rule that the GM mandates They do not have to follow obvious logic. I've seen fire vulnerable to air and water to cold but perfectly fine vs their opposites.
