Slime Boss is the product of an industrial accident at a research lab that was working on a super-soldier serum.  He grew to six feet tall, and his brain developed greatly.  He cowed a number of lesser thugs into working for him, in part because bullets tend to do little damage to him.  The first mission that he gave them involved the kidnapping of a weapons engineer, whom he used to upgrade him cybernetically.  He's now the fastest and deadliest slug that has ever lived.

Classic engineer.  He built it too big to get out of its warehouse.

    1. 5% fast food (if that), 5% restaurants (if that), 90% or more home cookin'.  No garden anymore, although I used to...nothing like the taste of freshly-harvested tomatoes in a salad.

    2.  One or the other of us.  Standard American fare, Mexican, Italian, the occasional French.  Leftovers are the rule...we always seem to make far more than we'll eat at one sitting.  (And, of course, my specialties, banana bread and oatmeal-raisin cookies.)

    3.  I'm a strict omnivore.  Tabasco sauce is a joke.  Cholula, baby.

Eh I haven't been excited about Mechs since I visited a startup in Vegas that used self-contained simulators, back in the late '80's or early '90's, I think.  It was a badass experience, but video games quickly proved that the biz had little future.

    I rocked it, of course.

Actinic is an alien from a far arm of the galaxy, capable of interstellar flight and the harnessing of light into destructive power.  It was Captain Terra whose computer skill allowed him to figure out a 'language' of bursts of varying frequencies of light with which they could understand each other.  Having found an intelligence with which it can communicate, it is learning what it can assimilate about the human species.  It has no concept of war as such, though it does understand violence and greed, and helps its new acquaintances in order to be able to learn more from them.  As for other intentions, who can know what motivates a completely alien being?

(Actinic is the name that the group came up with for it; its name wouldn't translate into English.)

I've already seen Hell.  Heck, my grandmother used to live there.  (My dad used to say that he could tell his mother-in-law to go to Hell... and she would.)

One thing I like about Complications is that they serve to remind players of a genre's most iconic conventions, and for those not very familiar with a genre they can serve a tutorial function. But I also think Complications go a bit beyond merely teaching how to roleplay, especially in a Champions (superhero) context where everything is cranked up to 11.

Complications are attributes of a character so potentially debilitating that you deserve some sort of compensation for agreeing to take them. Rather than viewing them as enforcing genre conventions and role-aligned actions (after all, they are entirely optional in the sense that every character is free to not take any), I find it more worthwhile to view them as reward vehicles for voluntarily taking traits that will cause real, and sometimes dire, difficulties for PCs. I see Complications as a vital part of the point economy built into the very foundation of the Hero System, and not merely as a means to incentivise roleplaying (that's just a side effect, in my view).

Another benefit of Complications is that they help GMs build plots that are PC-centric, which engage players far more deeply than generic plots with little or no direct connection to their characters. If Complications incentivise anything they incentivise PC-centric plot construction, which is full of win in my book because that helps intertwine characters with the game setting in a way that even writing an elaborate piece of fanfic as a backstory usually won't.

I thought it was great.  It cleaved closer to the comics and was a wide departure from previous portrayals.

He did seem to have lived up to the designation of "offensive lineman" in more ways than one generally looks for in an NFL player.

At least it's better than one campaign where we were lucky to not trip each others enraged disads. And that was usually when we found out that the group vehicle's "hunted by team gadgeteer" had tripped, meaning that a random system wasn't working because he'd scavenged some component for his latest prototype. Seriously, we ended up installing a floor hatch flanked by sturdy handles because of how many times the motive systems weren't working. Yes, we had resorted to using our brick and the "flintstone-matic" drive.

I'll watch The Dark Knight for Heath Ledger's iconic performance, but the other two are meh to me (although Anne Hathaway in latex is a draw).

    Inti

What happens when someone becomes possessed by the Sun God of his people ? Inti is the result. The Inca people worshipped the Sun and gave it the name Inti. In modern times Miguel Perez a crusading lawyer looked for a way to defend the rights of the common people from the government, corporations and others. He was lured to an ancient tomb and found ancient script. He somehow translated it and managed to avoid a number of death traps and was thus found worthy to be granted the power of the Sun itself. However while his body was able to cope, his mind could not and Inti as Miguel now called himself became drunk on power. He now seeks to conquer the world.
He is the leader of the group simply because no-one argues with a god. Or someone who is deluded but has a great deal of power at their disposal
