I hear what you're saying. But he led with politics. There's no question of motivation here.

Tabletop gaming scenes are almost always a seller's market; because they are scarce by comparison, we are often at the mercy of the DMs/GMs.

On September 7-9 I'll be up in Alexandria, VA as a guest at MAGLabs, a convention taking place at the Hilton Alexandria Mark Center. I'll be holding my Worldbuilding Workshop (and a much shorter one on building monsters) and my How To Write Elvish workshop, plus interacting with gamers and fans and just generally having an awesome time. If you're in the area, please come out and say howdy!

As Jesus was raising Lazarus from the dead, one of the apostles stepped away to answer the call of nature.
Shortly afterward, the apostle Peter berated him saying, "'I bet you don't even know how many people were raised from the dead today. "
The fellow answered, "Maybe not but I know it was at least four because I distinctly remember Jesus yelling "Lazarus, come forth!"

I'm at the emergency room. Today was not a good day. I decided to go horseback riding, something I haven't done in a few years. It turned out to be a big mistake! I got on the horse and started out slow, but then we went a little faster before I knew it, we were going as fast as the horse could go. I couldn't take the pace and fell off, but caught my foot in the stirrup with the horse dragging me. It wouldn't stop. Thank goodness the manager at Toys-R-Us came out and unplugged the machine.

D-Day landings "The British and Canadians put 75,215 troops ashore, and the Americans 57,500, for a total of 132,715" https://www.historyonthenet.com/d-day-statistics/
"The First U.S. Army, accounting for the first twenty-four hours in Normandy, tabulated 1,465 killed, 1,928 missing, and 6,603 wounded...Canadian forces at Juno Beach sustained 946 casualties, of whom 335 were listed as killed. Surprisingly, no British figures were published, but Cornelius Ryan cites estimates of 2,500 to 3,000 killed, wounded, and missing, including 650 from the Sixth Airborne Division."
https://www.historyonthenet.com/d-day-casualties/
The number missing were most likely the ones who were killed in the water before reaching the beach. (And keep in mind that this is the number for the beaches, mostly not counting paratroopers, except for the British, or casualties on ships and planes.)
1465 + 1928 + 6603 + 946 + 3000-ish then compare that to the 132,715 who were there will give you the percentage. It'll come out roughly to 10.5%
If you want it broken down by segment, there's 86,400 segments per day so you'd divide your total number of casualties (which looks to be around 14,000) by 86,400. That's a rate of casualties among the Allies of about one every six segments on the beaches. But keep in mind that casualties weren't evenly distributed throughout the day.
Those are numbers from the first two links googling "number of casualties on d-day". There's several other links that look promising if you want to double-check the numbers.
You could probably get good results from googling "number of casualties fill-in-the-blank landing" then just plug in Okinawa, Sicily, Iwo Jima, or anyplace else you want to look.

One of the major big bads!
SO OUCH! This guy is supposed to be one of the major big bads in the book. And it shows. And I reduced him from what the book has. As someone has said, versatility costs. He originally had a very large EC. And they said that he had at least another 10 effects not listed under the Sorcery ability. So instead I placed his EC just with his go to combat spells, and placed the rest in a VPP, with some examples, that you can fill in. Also I gave him a few extra disadvantages just to make him less monolithic.
If it looks like he can take on an entire team, you're right. My question is if he is charged with killing Gargoyle, why isn't there a smoldering corpse somewhere.
Otherwise, he just doesn't turn my crank. Selfish, sadistic, no redeemable features. Seriously this guy needs the power or he's gonna be killed.

archer reacted to Lord Liaden in Hero Games former website freebies
Up until a few years ago, the Hero Games website hosted a wide variety of book excerpts, supplements, and game aids for free download. However, with the most recent website upgrade, most of those items were considered not resource cost-effective to maintain, and were discarded. As a result most new Hero gamers are unaware they ever existed; and even some of the veterans may have missed the treasures they contained, or have since lost something from the collection they once had.
However, thanks to the magnificent Internet Archive Wayback Machine, virtually all those items are still obtainable if one knows where to look and what to look for. But since many people don't know, I thought it would be helpful to provide links to representative archived pages.
These downloads cover many areas: maps (from published books or supplementary), book excerpts and introductions (including supplementary info about the published official settings), wallpapers, color covers to PDF books, character sheets and hex maps, items cut from books for space (including supplementary forms mentioned in various books), adventure modules, character outlines for illustrations (under "Character Sheets and Hex Maps" for some reason), illos for cardboard mini figures, apps and utilities, graphics and sounds, and more. Many of these were generously created by Hero fans.
Because the website has gone through several revisions over the years since DOJ bought the Champions IP, and each version has made changes to the downloads it hosted, I'm including links to Free Stuff pages from different years to cover as many of the varied offerings as possible.

NOTE: Sometimes a file linked to on one of those pages would not actually have been saved on the particular day that page was crawled by Internet Archive. At the top of each page you'll see a graphic representing how many times the page was crawled on various dates. Clicking on that to get to another date will bring up another page, on which the item you want may have been saved.
I recommend exploring. There's much there to enjoy.

Also, the Extra Time should be -1 1/2 since it's for a Constant/Persistent Power that only requires Extra Time to activate.

The three titles are

3) Homefires Burning
Am I supposed to give out the storylines of each of the series now or do I save that for later?

archer reacted to Lord Liaden in DC Movies- if at first you don't succeed...
Marvel's shared universe was actually precedent-setting in the comics as well. Prior to that each starring comic-book character essentially existed in their own separate world. They would sometimes appear in each other's magazines, and of course there were team-up titles like Justice League; but the events in one character's title never impacted the others, and each hero had his or her own rogues gallery who almost never crossed over with other heroes.
